In the End Sora will go home and his Mum will ask him where he's been for so long and ground him. jk

I think that Sora will have to give up his life to save everyone. Then there wil be a seen where Kairi is old and telling a child, that looks like Sora, the story of kingdom hearts. (like Kairi's Grandmother)

I can only guess that we'll be seeing a happy ending in the end lol.

Sora,Riku and Kairi,reunited on Destiny Islands,King Mickey returning to the castle with Donald and Goofy,and they all live happily ever since.

Unfortunately, I too expect a corny, happily ever after ending. Though it's better than the whole "Sora will wake up and realize it was all a dream" BS. That would be absolutely terrible. Bottom line.

Let's hope the ending for this great series will be bitter-sweet. I mean, some of you depise happy endings (As you think it's too kiddy) and some of you hate sad endings (Very drama-mama and stuff, eh?). Bitter-sweet, both parties have a win-win solution. See? But if I have to choose either (happy or sad), I'll choose the happy ending. But I hope it's not too crappy if it ends like most other stories out there wheather it's anime, manga, games or novels.

it wont be bitter sweet i can already see that, one side or the other will win this "battle" but knowing tetsuya, no matter what he does it wont be a let down.

it will end with (old) terra fighting along side sora, riku, donald, goofy, mickey, kairi to finally defeat xehanort whatever xehnort is. lol. or maybe darkness. but who knows. eh? lets make it a happy ending plz nomura unlike kh1's (which by the way WAS supposed to be the ending and there werent supposed to be sequals but then people liked it!) so it could end like kh1's ending sad and off the edge! TT_TT but once again. who knows? except that jerk in japan NOMURA!

What makes you think that? Nomura didn't have a clue what he would do for KHII when he made the ASAS teaser. He had no idea what he would do with Terra, Ven, and Aqua, which is the only reason he made knight costumes for them - he had no idea what they looked like and didn't want to reuse the "black cloak" theme of the Organization.

Nomura doesn't know where this series is going, not because he hasn't thought out possible storylines but because this series is a cash cow for Square Enix, and just like what they're doing with the rest of the Final Fantasy franchise, Kingdom Hearts will get milked for all its worth for as long as it is profitable. Ideally for them, it'll never end. That's why the three new games are on three different portable systems instead of one - to force people to buy a DS and a PSP and the phone and a PS3 and whatever else they decide to make a token spinoff for. Hell, I'm surprised they haven't made a Tiger Handheld Kingdom Hearts.

Reality check. Kingdom Hearts has to end. It isn't Final Fantasy with a different story line every time. It's is a constantly progressing single story. Every story began must end.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, mainly because I don't feel like reading through all the post... If it has, then we share the same idea...

I believe that Xehanort will fuse back together from Xemnas and Ansem... He will then find the Room of Awakening and recover all of his past memories... He will then, eventually, return to the form of MX (which I believe fused with the DS to become Xeha) and the letter that Mickey sent to Sora and the others warns them of this... So, Sora, Riku and Kairi look for MX and DS (Castle Oblivion perhaps?)... The fight and win... As they rejoice, MX strikes Riku down, killing him... Sora and MX fights, Sora wins... MX then absorbs his KH from the secret ending and becomes all powerful... He releases an army of heartless to destroy all of the worlds... Sora and MX fight again... Sora wins... MX dies... Sora uses the power of MX's KH to destroy the heartless completely, sacrificing himself in the process...

I'm not sure if anything that has been released lately counters anything in there, due to the fact that I haven't been on lately... If so, feel free to correct me, with evidence, of course...

Agreed. It'll end the first time one of the games bombs financially and Square Enix no longer stands to profit from dragging it out.

In-universe-wise, it'll end most likely with the final defeat of Xehanort. Although until then they'll keep thinking up wacky ways for Xehanort to keep reincarnating.
