Okay I think that the scene where Ven asked to be erased was at destiney islands righ? Also maybe when Terra went aalong with Vens request he made sure that Ven would still exist in another and chose Sora who might have reminded him of Ven. Also I really doubt that Terra is evil, I think he problem makes the same mistakes as Rioku but by the end of the game he finds his place and becomes himself again as he probably made some bad decisions for his friends.
