okay, i know this has probably been brought up before but I havn't been on here for a while. It is alot easier posting a thread than looking in the hundreds, though. So here it goes.

If the knights were once the holders of the Keyblades and the Keyblades are in a sense "alive" (because they choose thier masters", could the past Keyblade Wielders, in essence, actually be part of the Keyblade. The mind of the past Wielders in a way are what helps the Keyblade choose who becomes the next Wielder.

Your thoughts?

Well, maybe, looking the battle against Terra in FM+, it is obvious he had choosed Riku for being Master of the KK, so yes maybe old weilder can influencate, but like it hs been shown with Sora having the KK, at the end, the keyblade will choose by itself, not caring will of old weilder I guess.

Possible yes. Plausible yes. But until we have answers it is just a theroy so it could be true.

Possibly... If so then wouldn't it's weilder not choose anyone because possibly they were selfish and wouldn't want anyone else to have the chance of glory?

Yeah, Keyblades did chose his own master.. but i don't think the previous keyblader be part of it...
Although Terra in FM+ did say Sora is not the one he chosen.. but it could mean something else..

i dont think so, i think that they cant b any part of it 1nce the keyblade chooses a different master

Thats a good point.
Thats one reason I don't really support this theory. Simply because all keyblades choose their wielders in the same way. By strength of the heart. They don't care if their intentions are bad good, or neutral. If their heart is strong enough to wield the keyblade, then they can be chosen. If it had a mind of a previous wielder in it, then just like SeaSalt said, some wouldn't choose another person at all, and some wouldn't choose somebody because they didn't like their intentions.

And another point is this. Say a master's mind is left with the keyblade. What happens to that masters mind when a new one is chosen?

Also not nessarily just for selfish messures, I mean think about Sora, Somtimes the keyblade causes him a lot of pain and grief, Perhaps he wouldn't want anyone to be chosen incase they would have to suffer like he did.

So now I have decided no I disagree with your theory.

It seems, though, that from what we have seen from the Knight vid and the storyline of KH2 that all of the Wielders were on the same side and that they were more than likely good (not saying they were, though).
So could it be that the reason that the Keyblade chose Sora and Riku was because the past wielders (most of them probably good or else the universe would probably be gone by now) had a major influence on them. The darker-hearted Wielders got a little bit of thier way when they would choose someone who had a chance of going to the Darkness (like Riku).

Just a little something I thought about.

If the keyblader being part of the keyblade... i would say their spirit..
