To compare this two game are really hard. Both are rely very good, but FF, the number VII especially, is still better from my point of view, except the VII, I'd say KH is better.

Seeing as I haven't really played all the way through any FF game, I really like Kh more. Its my absolute favorite game series, but FF is really good too. I'm just biased because I haven't really played through any FF game. VII was really good though. And X and X-2 weren't terrible. I'm playing through XII now and thats really fun. Dunno why, but I like that one best so far. Till FFXIII comes out of course. ;D

Actually, there would be no real difference as all the FF character would be replaced with original characters. tee hee.

Not that different. I don't think I'd be dismayed if three random fairies who serve no purpose in the game had not been included. Leon + Yuffie + Aerith + Cid were not neccesary. They could have gotten by with one character playing their roles. The only time Cloud is relevent to the story is at the Olympus Cloiseum in KH when he fights Sora. From that point on Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth all serve no purpose to the actual plot, but to a side story. And Auron was just a random cameo. He could have been discluded and very little about Olympus Coliseum would have changed other than not having an extra party member. Once again, Seifer, Fuu, Rai, and Vivi could have been combined into one character to serve a prupose. I'm not saying I don't like the FF characters, several of them I like a lot. But my point is that the majoiry of them are not neccesary to the plot of Kingdom Hearts.

Slow your roll there dude, Leon is the only FF character that actual does something. Cid also helps but the majority of the time Leon is the one operating everything, everyone else is pointless.

Now yes we could just replace all the FF characters with original characters but that would require Nomura to use his brain and work harder and we know he isn't capable of such things. It isn't that FF is pointless it's that Nomura can't put them into the story correctly so that they seem relevant like in KH1.

Like I said before you can't compare the two franchises since FF has so many different games but FF has filled my life with much more joy than KH ever could.

Yeah, exactly. xD They're just cameos. Except for on rare occasion when they actually *GASP* do something relevent to the storyline.

Cloud in kh2 was completely pointless. If he and sephiroth hadn't appeared it literally would have made no difference, besides for getting the Fenrir.
