Here's the way I see it:
Domestic violence didn't "exist" before the 70's. It was considered teaching your wife who was in command. Now, you go to jail for "teaching your wife."
Same principle goes for the Heartless in my mind. And anyway, TN has gone back on his statements before with KH, so he very well may do the same with BBS enemies.

Er.. are you talking about the new enemy in BBS? they are not heartless and nobodies..
As for whether the heartless existed or not.. i dunno.. who knows.. maybe they appear in the end of the game?

Well, whether they existed or not, they won't be appearing in BBS. That Nomura has said before. He said that the new enemy is some kind of ancient ancestor of the heartless, or something along those lines.

"Discovered"? If Heartless had existed they would have proved to be a huge threat. They wouldn't just sit in a corner of darkness waiting fot Xehanort to discover them. In fact, Xehanort technically invented them, not discovered them. He experimented on the heart and Heartless were created. Not just found.

Just think about it. If the Heartless had existed, the walls of the worlds would have collapsed much earlier than they did. The Heartless would have attacked many worlds. True, their numbers would be fewer and weaker because the emblems would not be amoung their ranks. But they would still pose a major threat to the entire universe. Its just unlogical to think that Heartless could have existed unnoticed.

Exactly. You can't be an ancestor to something that exists on the same timespan as you. It goes against the very word. It defies logic.

And Nomura won't change his mind about this:
1. He has already revealed this to the public
2. It's a major Key point that would conflict with KH1 and 2, and who the hell wants to rewrite KH1 just for something stupid one guy did?
3.It can't change because this is too big. It was purposely done this way, so there's no way he'll retract that.

If heartless existed, the world barriers would have come down long ago. Not just at the beginning of KH1.

Well to let everyone know Heartless and Nobodies didn't exist in BBS. ONe of the major reason beside Nomura saying it is in the Ansem Reports. It says that Xehanort made them he put them in a basement and used them as experiment. Then one day ht say a thing born from the darkness of hearts. Thus it was called a heartless.

Yeah I don't think it really matters whether or not heartless existed or didn't exist during BBS time if there not even going to be there.
