Tiny Axel Theory

hokay, methinks this goes here since it's a theory and it may pertain to future series...?? If not, much apologies.

Anywho, I was thinking (while scrolling through a thread on a different forum where someone was attempting to clarify that Reno was Axel's somebody)... ya think there's the possibility?

-Yus, I know that he was intended to basically be the Kingdom Hearts version of Reno
-I also understand that his name is not an anagram of Reno.
-Axel's true name is Ale (from what I've been reading on these forums, as he's been named after Reno's favorite drink. Gimme a poke if this is wrong. ^_~)

Soooo, what I'm trying to get at is, if Reno were to appear in a future game, would we recognize him by his name? What if they pulled another Squall on us and called him by, say...perhaps....Ale. >:3

i dont think that they are related in anything other than the company, VA and love of fire
Reno is in FF7, not kh
and the other FF characters dont have nobodies or heartless

I must say it is a very good likeness, and as Reno is a main character, sort of, of FF7 he does have the potential of being Axel, due to strong heart.

Just curious, what would Axels heartless counterpart been, thinking as to where the heartless originated, and how it effects type. Because if the heart and body have been released it is possible to reform, or so i hear. Maybe we will get to see more FF& characters in the future, maybe an actuall FF world

One way to solve this, the same voice actors are used for characters accross things and reno is voiced by Quinton Flynn and if someone can find who voices Axel IT WILL ALL BE WORKED OUT, POSSIBLY

it would be cool if it was true. maybe they could do it so that it's not completely obvious, but that if you thought about it would make sense. like if, as someone mentioned above, he changed his name to ale.

Don't usually the Nobodies have different voice actors than their Other?

Yeah they have different voice actors. Axel was inspired by Reno, not is Reno or Reno's Nobody, but inspired by his design. Even his name was inspired by Reno. But he's not Reno's Nobody, you can't really support it by voice actor because of the 3 example I provided above about the VA Other: VA Nobody ratio. Since we're not even sure if Reno exists in the KH universe at all, it's not so great to theorize on his Nobody.

Yes they're similar, but I can find many differences in appearence. There's only a few main details that stick out, but I've studied the design of the characters and found them to be different.

I'm not shutting you down, just saying. And after a while, these Axel is Reno's Nobody theories just began to tick me off... it was fun at first, but after 2 years? Not as much... :/

If I didn't know better, I'd say this sounds like straight ass crack. D: Source, pronto! I find it very hard to believe they'd name Axel after a...bloody beverage. How flattering.

And doubt Axel's Reno's Nobody. In all honesty, I'd cry if SE shoved Reno into the picture. /:

Its true. It was in a Nomura interview. He said he based Axel off of Reno, and named him after Reno's favorite drink, Ale. I'm not exactly sure where to find the interview, but maybe somebody on here does.

That wouldn't solve anything. Nobody's dont have the same voices as their somebody's. for example, Sora is voiced by Haley Joel Osment, and Roxas is voiced by Jesse McCartney. (btw, axel is voiced by Quinton Flynn also)
