Thoughts on the "other" Master?

That's a given. I've never said that he wasn't using one. and FYI, you can use the Keyblade the same way one can use a sword.

More then likely Mickey is there master... It would explain his knowledge of the keyblade.

Not necessarily, he is a wielder but he wouldn't have to be the master of VAT. He is a master of the keyblade in and of itself, but that doesn't mean VAT are training under him.

Well it would explain why he protected Ven. Also why he seems to know what happens at the end of BBS video. He would have to go back even farther to even be shocked at KH like Sora was. Its not like KH has a sign saying this is bad or good.

I am more in the school of thought that Mickey could be their master, I was just trying to provide an opposing viewpoint. To me it seems that Mickey could be coming in at the end of the secret movie to help the beaten down VAT.

The Master in the story might play a key role like yen sid did for KH2. The master might be the one who gives the group the armor suit power.

Honestly, I think their master is a completely new character, possibly this "True Master of Keyblades" that we've yet to meet. Nomura said in some interview that in one of the three games, we'd meet this "True Master". Something like that. But I don't think its Mickey. Because Mickey has the Star Seeker, which makes me think that he's still training himself under Yen Sid. I don't think Mickey's their master.

Just because he is using the Star Seeker, it doesn't mean he's not a "Master" yet. It just means he hasn't retrived the IKK.

Well star seeker is only a keychain that modifies the keyblade correct?

SO he may have had the IKK but used the star seeker keychain.

I could be totally wrong about this but, didn't MX used to be a student under the VAT's master, i thought he ran away from his master and the master told the VAT to go find him. Or were MX and the VAT's master on the same level, as far a superiority goes?

I have never heard of MX being under any master. MX and DS just disappeared one day resulting in VAT's master to send them out in preparation of some sort of disastrous event to come.

Uh, MX is on the same level of VAT's master. They're both keyblade masters. Hence "Master" Xehanort.
