Ya well since the whole star wars saga
the story of a person good and lost their way has become somewhat cliche
so it would be no suprise to me to see something like that happening

Acutally I believe that Nomura single handely took the plot of StarWars and just added a kh theme. There are WAYYYYYY to much stuff that coincides with it being like StarWars, let's see how long my list will get:

Light vs. Dark theme
Clone Wars=Keyblade War
Donald=R2D2
Goofy=C3PO
King Mickey=Yoda
Terra=Anakin Skywalker(in terms of role, not that there acutally related)
Sora=Luke Skywalker
Xenahort/Xemnas=Darth Vadar
Terra and Anakin are both tricked into darkness
Sora say's "FORCE" while using Gravity in KH1
Xemans uses lightsabers (of some sort) when you fight him in TWTNW (if that doesn't hint StarWars then I don't knoe what does)
Keyblade=Lightsaber
Once there use to be many Keyweilders (jedi's) but now there are few today
Apprentices/Masters/Councils are both used in StarWars/KH
Evil Characters in StarWars able to use Lightsaber, evil character in KH able to use keyblade (MX, DS)
Both are able to dual weild keyblades/light saber
Both have magic skills
Organiaztion 13=The group of evil jedi weilders


....................and I bet I'm missing alot more. Now look at this list. Doesn't it make you think that Nomura is a HUGE StarWars fan and has "borrowed" plot elements from StarWars? I mean my list alone proves that the KH and SW likes are more than just coincedence!........//
