I am betting that Coded will have a very interesting story that will help set up KH3. The gameplay might be "different", but that will just make it more interesting. I look forward to this game as much as Birth By Sleep and 358/2 days. My only fear is that it might not make it to the states, though i doubt that will happen. I'm actually not going to get a new cell phone until i find out what coded comes out for (if it does)

Since Coded plays after Kingdom Hearts 2, and a possible "KH3" probably will, too, it's very likely that something in Coded will lead up to it.

What I'm hoping for is more Mickey back story. And you know what would be better than giving us this game on our phones? Maybe a special release along with KH3? (Just like KH2: Final Mix) They would most likely do it for Japan too, although it'd be released with KH3: Final Mix with a few extras that don't matter. Come on SquareEnix... We havn't gotten a single Final Mix or special anything. Save KH:coded for the KH3 NA release. Who else agrees?

I doubt it will happen. It would almost be like releasing the same KH1 3 times on a home console. It's just to similar to KH1 in my opinion.

And remember, we don't even know if it would work on a home console, since we don't know how it is played on the cellphone.

Well, it seems that Kingdom Hearts new is scarce... Coded is apparently coming out in Japan this summer. That's pretty much all I know.

Yeah in my opinion apart from the official reason, Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories was also sought out to have a monopoly on the PlayStation 2 at the time for the series. They had the time and effort, so they just did it.
