How long will BBS be?

i think longer than CoM but not as long as KHII but why does leght of the game matter SOOOO much? i buy games that have a good story not because they last long. it would be nice to be a bit long but not like too long. ya kno?

Uhh because usally length= longer and better storyline plus it devolps the characters more and overall experience...that's why. ya kno?

Considering the CC team is on this one, and keeping in mind that BBS is the prologue to the KH universe as a whole (meaning it has to tell the prelude all by itself), I'm guessing it'll be a lengthy game. 20-40 hours, counting side quests and all.

Crisis Core is 30 hours soley the game's story, and up to 100 hours with all the sidequests... :thumbup:

Ah, it's good to see people are backing up the whole 100 hour with sidequest thing. I'd personally love a full on KH game with tons of gameplay, say, 30 odd hours main story :D. Tons to do, an amazing story, and lots of sides and levelling ^^.

PSP has far more power than the PS2, so i think BBS will be as long or longer than KH2.

"Far more powerful"? Definitely not, the PSP's capabilities are quite impressive, but they are not PS2 quality, much less "far more power". Besides the technical specifications of the hardware itself, you also have to factor in the disc that the games are being played on

The Playstation 2 used DVD-RW format discs which held a capacity of 4.7 Gigabytes of Data. The Playstation Portable used the Universal Media Disc format, known as UMD, which holds a capacity of 900MB, nearly 1/5th the size of the PS2's space

During KH2's production, it was said that the KH team was having problems with the game itself, because the disc capacity alone may not allow them to fit all of the content in the game that they wanted to

Now, if KH2 nearly reached the PS2's disc capacity of 4.7GB, I find it hard to believe that you could be assured that the PSP game would equal the same amount of content, when it's using nearly 1/5th the space they had for the PS2 title

The game will definitely be longer than Chains of Memories, but not as long as KH2, unless they decide to pound in meaningless sidequests that boost the 'playtime' because of mindless tasks, which to me isn't something any KH title has ever really done, so I don't see why BBS would do so
