Why did Xemnas call Aqua "old freind' in FM?

It's like what, a super slow placed cut scene he walks ALL the way down there, calm and collected, sits down then BOOM drops a sarcastic joke?? I'll buy that if it's XIGBAR we're talking about....but Xemnas? Doesn't seem like Xemnas makes jokes.

HOWEVER to counter that in the Cut Scene you'll notice many chain's along the walls and floor. The place has the aura of a prison and even has many cells. So whatever the place is it seems like it's containing whatever its holding, and the chains obviously add to that theme. So if that's the case a sortof cruel sarcastic remark would sortof fit the EVENT, but i STILL am not sure it fits Xemnas.


Here's what i've been thinking about (just throwin this out). So Terra seems to have a similair hair STYLE to the xehanort/xemnas we know and his eyes turn yellow/orange in BBS. Also Xehanort's heartless possessed Riku so we have a theme of possession. So for the sake of arguement say Xehanort DID do something to Terra, turned his eyes turned his hair color and whiped his memory. SO then Terra/Xehanort can't remember anything but the name xehanort and a burning passion to find kingdom hearts. Now, what I want to know is what sortof connection makes sense. Both TERRRA and MX appear to be keyblade masters. So does DS. So do Ven and Aqua. So why then can't modern Xehanort or Xemnas use the keyblade? I mean if he's TERRA you figure he should, if he's MX somehow you figure he should, AND if he's DS, he should. So you could argue that he lost all old ties when he "lost his memory" and all that, but he's obviously trying to get that back and has it enough to call (joking or not) aqua's armor an old friend.

It's just wierd to me that Xemnas and all made such a big deal out of Roxas being able to wield the keyblade, when it seems that Xemnas is very likly to be the nobody of a keyblade master himself =/.

Like Hades said, it could have been from a lack of a better term... Or it could have even implied irony... But, from Xemnas' body movements, he is definately trying to imply something...

That was where the apprentices held their research... So, I believe it is safe to assume those cells are to hold their test subjects to keep an eye on them and insure there protection...

If the battle with Terra is canon, there is no possibility for Terra to be any part of Xehanort...
If it isn't, then we have no proof Terra survived the fight with MX, and the possibility would greatly fall...

well, the therory that I've been working on is that during BBS, their was Master Xehanort, (the bald guy) Terra, Ven, and Aqua. some how Xehanort did something horrible and Terra was turned into a heartless/nobody. and because he had this absolute hate for Xehanort, that's all that he could remember. so in essence, Terra is Xemnas. thats why they look so alike.

Don't get me wrong though, this therory has a lot of holes in it and need work, but it's a start.

As for my theory, (which I'm sure has been said before, albeit slightly differently) Xemnas and Xehanort (the one with hair on his head) were one and the same: Terra. When Terra's heart was lost, it left an empty shell (Xemnas) and the darkness within his heart (the Xehanort with hair on his head). The resemblance is uncanny, even more so than with Sora: Terra's hair is in the same style as Xehanort, but a different color of course. And at the end of the Birth By Sleep secret movie, his eyes turn the same yellow hue belonging to both Xemnas and Xehanort. Since he was a companion of both Ven and Terra, it is reasonable to assume he has a sentimental attachment to them.

As for the bald Xehanort, I'd say he is the true Xehanort. The original who, after defeated by the three knights possessed Terra, who lost his memory as well as his heart, and became the Xehanort we know from the three Kingdom Hearts Games :thumbsup:

it couldnt be Aqua. Organization XIII is for NOBODIES. And Aqua can't be a nobody, because she weilds a keyblade. Unless she was born like Roxas, but no one wants to go there again

they did try to kill/hurt her. did you not see her get thrown in the air by the thousands of keyblades and then hit the ground super hard that it broke her helmet.

i don't know man? If Xemnas was Terra's Nobody then he should've been able to wield a keybLade. also it could be a that MasteR Xehanort has the PoweR to reincarnate himself.
