How can it be Namine?

In the trailer the new Org. member was said to wear a black coat. Namine never wore a black coat. Also they said that Xemnas introduced her as a new Org. member. Namine was never part of he organization, they just used her to wipe memories and such.

Well, she isn't an out right member, but she has worked with them, even if it was by force.

But she was NEVER a member of the Organization. She didn't have a little tombstone thing in that area, and she didn't even have an element. (unless drawing is an element)

memories could sort of be considered her element but i agree that the 14th member is not namine.

Ok, and something else. Namine was is CoM. If 358/2 takes place after CoM, why would Nomura be introducing her as such a big deal now?

I never said she was. She was used by the Org, but was never in it.

Are you sure they talked about the famele member all the time?
The new member in black coat was probaply Roxas, and Naminé and the other nobodies had so much in common (like being a nobody, a great power and all) so Xemnas probaply thought her as a member already.
But after all Namié was forced to stay in Castle Oblivion and coorperate with Organization.

She didn't have a tombstone because she never was offical member, she never joined by her own will.

It's been confirmed many times over.

Your post makes no sence. Is it physically impossible for Namine to wear a black coat? Of course not. So that is no valid reason at all.

And there is no proof that Namine didn't join the Organization. DiZ and Riku could have asked her to infiltrate the Organization to capture Roxas. Axel would be the only one able to identify her, seeing as none of the other Org. members who worked in Castle Oblivion lived.

And there are obviously 14 members, but not 14 tombstones, so whoever the new member may be, her tombstone is not displayed.

Are you really sure they are the same scene, seriosly, its a trailer.
There was a scene where Roxas was introduced to Organization XIII and a scene when he factually joined it.

And then there was a scene when Xemnas told the 14th member. Its more likely that the scene was added, so fans could reconize when this all happened, before CoM.

Maybe is she is because she can manipulate memories you may find out at the beginning when she was created she could manipulate everything and maybe cuz she wouldnt change soras memories she was taken to castle oblivion and she over lost her powers untill she could only change the memoiries of the people who are connected to sora. But before she lost the power she changed the 13 organisation members memories so they would forget about her being a member, and maybe it didnt work on Xemnas and that is why only he says she is a member

Namine was born in Castle Oblivon, first of all.

Second of all, I do think that its a good theory that Namine erased the Org.'s memories of her so that she could escape. But, I'd guess she'd be able to because they are "connected" to Roxas, who is of course connected to Sora.

But marluxia said that namine was ENTRUSTED to him so that means that xemnas knew about namine and gave her to marluxia, so axel wouldnt be the only one to identify her.

Perhaps Marluxia described how they'd found Namine at Castle Oblivion to Xemnas, so he never physically saw her.

But even if he did, Namine would be a hero to the Organization. She was a major part of destroying Marluxia's rebellion and ensured that Sora survived, therefore allowing the Org.'s plan to move forward. Of course, Namine's true loyalties lie with Sora and Riku, but there's no reason for Xemnas to know that.
