Corridor of Darkness

There are 2 ways to travel to worlds, the gummi ship and corridors of darness( the things Riku, the King, and the organiztion used). If u use them to much u are swaloed by darkness, but for some reason Riku, The King , and the organization aren't effected.Sora has used this transportation few time,so he shouldn't be effected, but shouldn't Riku the king and the others be effected. What's up with that?

on KHI's main page i remember reading something about the Organization not being effected for i believe they were nothing check it out there.

I think the Org. can use them cuz they are supa pwerful and the heartless bow before them, heartless=the darkness of peoples hearts.

The Org, aka Nobodies, don't have Hearts to lose to the darkness, so that's why they aren't effected... imo.

Mickey's Heart is probably far too strong to be swallowed by using a mere transportation method. Besides, maybe that dark Keyblade protects him?

That just leaves Riku. He was using XH's Heart's powers, right? That's probably why. Though, when you think of it, he was really effected. O_o

teh nobodies of teh org werent affected because they had no heart for the darkness to erode, riku wasnt effected because i beleive taht he had a mission, or maybe his heart was too strong, and he did accept the darkness and let it into his heart, and the king, well hes the FRIGGIN KING!!!

The power of darkness is faster.... how come maleficant wasnt affected by using the darkness as her vesel?

Maleficent was affected. However, she was powerful and knew how to control it, so she didn't meet her demise because of it, but it was stated that the reason she was a main villain in the first place was because she discovered the power of darkness.

Nobodies don't have hearts, so going through darkness has no effect on them xD

I believe that any Keyblade wielder is protected by their own strong heart (Hence why Riku didn't actually LOSE his heart) and the Keyblade as well.

Going by this theory, Riku was affected by the darkness because his heart wasn't completely light, as is everyone's but the 7 princesses, and he wasn't actually wielding a Keyblade, so it didn't protect his heart. Also, on a side note, I don't think that the Keyblade can banish darkness from any heart, so that didn't happen when he temporarily acquired it. Also, the reason he took on Xeha's Heartless form was because he took it into himself willingly, it didn't take over him.

Anywho, I digress. But, there's some explanations from me. xD

nobodies can sink into darkness even thought they dont have hearts thats y it was special when namine and roxas didnt fade into the darkness like other nobodies if u defeat a nobody they sink into darkness unless they find their heart and become whole

well with riku ... i never saw him use the corridors when he wasn't controled or used the darkness... i only saw him use it when he was using the darkness in kh and he gave in to the darkness to defeat roxas.. i could be wrong thoe

Well Riku I think is of an inbetween existence because he did not choose darkness or light, rather Dawn. So I think thats the reason he can travel through the corridor of darkness. later in KH2 where he has to use the darkness inside himself to take care of Roxas. Thats why he could travel using the corridor of darkness. As for Mickey, I'm not really sure, but both Riku and Mickey are probably just exceptions as mentioned in another quote from Another Report.
