In the secret movie for the final mix, the helmets of the soldiers describe where they come from. It uses "solar symbolism" This is what i mean:

E.S.: Helmet: Pointed Up
Solar Symbolism: The Sun is up meaning Light

B.H.S: Helmet: Half way up
Solar Symbolism: sun almost up meaning Dawn

F.S: Helmet: Half way down
Solar Symbolism: sun almost down meaning Twilight

D.S. Helmet: Nothing
Solar Symbolism: No Sun. Meaning Darkness.

maybe each of their armor comes from a different kingdom. like each soldier's armor is common armor to wear in that kingdom.

yeah..sunset horizions..it makes sense..
this was my theory when i first saw the secret vid from Kh2

Light = Sora
Dark = Mickey
Both = Riku
Nothing = Xehanort

Cool. Probrably it means that Sora and Riku have a connection to the soldiers because Sora was a warrior of pure light and Riku was half and half. Cool, I would've repped you but I've given too much rep...

i was thinking the same thing...a circle! each story has different people except its the same fate! bhs could be goody, fs could be donald, and es could be sora or sumthing like that. since sora and co. were sent on a mission from the king, they are acting SOLDIERS. and since the other soldiers ARE soldiers, maybe they were ordered to do the kind of same mission from another king, not as cartoony. kehenort could be the uem and the ds riku maybe because xehenorts heartless took riku in and made him fight for him. so mabe the d.s could be being controled by the uem.
