CG KH Movie

Advent Children was really cool. I think a KH film would be even better because the series definitely focuses on story so it'd have a cool balance of story/action. I'd be down for this really. Send John Lasseter over to Japan to oversee production. Include the film with the release of KH3.
Although, I'd prefer BbS2 to be a game. They should really make a film about the Keyblade War.

I would also prefer it as a game, and I don't think it could ever work out as a movie. A movie has a 95% chance of being horrible and disappointing a large group of fans for one reason or another. There isn't a way to create a movie with so much in it (character introduction, Disney worlds with individual problems, plot introduction, actions sequences in between, and satisfying ending) within an hour or two...it isn't possible unless you cut out pretty much everything -__-

Unfortunately i disagree about the days part, it kind of was necessary to show xion axel and roxas relationship, at least if we are ever gonna see them again... That couldnt be summed up in a cutscene. I played recoded and i dont really think it was necessary at all, i also havent spoiled 3d though so there could be more to that. Bbsv2 could be extremely relevant or not relevant at all, it all depends on how it plays out.

I'm a firm believer that KH movie, no matter what, would suck...regardless of what game became the movie or what scenario, so I disagree with you.

Well, before KH2 came out, was Namine needed at all after CoM? Nope. She just complicated the story until she became important in later iterations. Give Xion time, I'm assuming she has a role in the grander scheme of things.

I would argue that yes, she is pretty important, albeit in an indirect way. At this point she sort of serves as a means to an end in showing the kind of character we were dealing with in Xemnas and, by extension, Master Xehanort. Always the character to have plans B through Z in line just in case the original idea didn't come to fruition properly is typical of Xehanort according to Blank Points, and with the creation of Xion we see that tendency recreated in Xemnas. I haven't spoiled 3D so I can't say for sure how that will play in with the bits we've seen of Xemnas's role in the trailers, but her involvement may prove to be pretty important in the future aside from a device to progress Xemnas's development, which is important in its own right. Just my opinion, though. :)

A Keyblade War movie...........would be interesting. I think it would work better than a movie based on actual in-game events the way a BBSv2 movie would be, but it would still be problematic in some ways. Besides, Mr. Nomura has never shown any interest that I know of in going any further into the past than BBS.

A CGI Kingdom Hearts full-length film doesn’t sit well with me. :/

At the most, I could probably see one or two animated shorts happen—perhaps something similar to Runaway Brain.

Speaking of which, that short is probably gonna get a bit more popular thanks to KH3D, if people even manage to figure out it's the short Julius is from.

Why does everybody assume that a KH movie has to be about traveling to dozens of different Disney worlds and solving their respective problems? it is a bit narrow minded to just think of it in that way, and of course that way it would be destined to fail miserably. There are so many ways to make a KH movie work, albeit less ways than there are ways to make it crash and burn. We should stop highlighting the ways that it would suck and using them as the only way a movie could be made, we should think of ways that would see it work out well.

I'd say just have the Disney worlds in as an afterthough/part of whatever main storyline without individual problems in them. give those characters no major reintroductions or anything. Like if sora and co. need to go talk to hercules about something, just cut right to that conversation.

I'd rather they didn't, really. I feel like this is something more fun to play through than to watch. I'm against an anime or a movie, and I mixed feelings on the manga, although it is cute.

Depends on what they're trying to do with this BbSV2 thing. The common speculation is that it's going to try and cover all the in between times at once like Aqua's time in the RoD, Riku's story, Micky's story, AX story, etc. If that's the case then it might work, not so much as a movie, but as an OVA series IMO. A series of short segments briefly showing what happened during the times I mentioned that doesn't have to worry about a cohesive flow from segment to segment because they're meant to fill in the blanks. They did something similar with FFVII, have short animated Ova s but I think they were all just recaps of memorable parts of the game.

I agree with this. A movie might have the potential to be decent but things rarely live up to their full potential.

I'd say maybe go a similar route to On the Way to a Smile, like, have a series of animated short stories included with an HD Collection of Kingdom Hearts. Like they could have

-One depicting the Keyblade War
-Eraqus' and Xehanort's training under their Keyblade Master
-Xehanort's journeys through the worlds and learning about the Keyblade War
-Apprentice Xehanort's time under the apprenticeship of Ansem the Wise and his experiments with the Heartless and Nobodies
-How Riku got from the Realm of Darkness to Castle Oblivion
-KHI from King Mickey's perspective
-Aqua's time in the Realm of Darkness

I would love it. However, this would DEFINITELY have to happen AFTER KH3. Advent Children just took Nomura waaaaay too much time. Although, it is a masterpiece well worth it (IMO)

Well if final fantasy vii advent children the movie got a other version of it called final fantasy vii advent children complete do you think bbsv2 would have a different version of it called bbsv2 complete or bbsv2 final mix do you think it might happen.
