Now it remains to be speculated if the "mystery game" Nomura talked about so much will be the interlude between Chapter 0 and 1, or if it will be, according to the rumors it'll clear up all loose ends between BBS and DDD, the big interlude between chapter 0 and chapter 3.1.

"big" interlude or THE MISSING LINK like Metal Gear. At this point, seeing the similarities between Metal Gear and Kingdom Hearts--Nomura and Kojima--I'm not very confident about their games closing plot holes, answering questions and all that stuff. I can imagine the games will eventually get into a cycle like this

Yeah, to a book. not to a chapter. If 3D or a game like days (ending is seamless to KH2 beginning) is thought of a prelude or an interlude fine. but its not the "chapter" itself, the chapters (Main Games) are BBS, 1, 2, and (eventually) 3. 3D is not a main game, but BBS is. Also, my original pattern was to show where the series was probably headed, not that that is what it is now. And i think its hard to distinguish between a side or bridge game. COM is considered a bridge game, but is the RR part a side game? and days is considered a side game, but bridges COM and KH2 pretty well.

BBS is a main game "KH0" and 3D is pretty much a main game since it is like "3.5" or the first half of KH3's story.

Anyways, I must read weird stories because I find books that have Interludes in the middle of the stories. 3D is pretty much a main game because without it you really won't understand a thing of KH3.
