I don't think I will get my hopes up for Pixar worlds in KH III. I would love them but... to me it seems to late to put one in.

Fan-made interpretations of what Pixar world music would sound like in Kingdom Hearts make me want them all the more:



There were two other really good battle theme interpretations from a Japanese guy that I'm unable to find (probably closed his account or something), one based on "Scare Floor" from Monsters Inc. and the other on "The Incredits" from The Incredibles. :)

But I also grudgingly believe that Pixar content should perhaps wait until the Xehanort saga is done with; it doesn't really make much sense to toss them in at this point.

Pixar worlds seem the most likely to be implemented into III to me for some reason. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be seeing Toy Story or possibly not even Monsters Inc., but something like Wall-E seems very likely at this time.

Also, I would love to see video game worlds in III.

Here goes..
I'm not really sure how the game would work, characters, timeline, etc.. But for the longest time I've thought that it would be great to see a KH game with all Pixar worlds. I imagine this would be a hand-held spinoff game similar to Birth by Sleep.
The worlds:

Toy Story 1-3 (umm.."World of Imagination"?.. meh): Okay so this world requires three visits because it has to. It can be the very first world you go to, then revisit a little later, and then the final world of the game (at least Disney-Pixar wise) because really all three of these films have great stories with great characters that just need to be explored.

A Bug's Life (Ant Island): Most people seem to think this world would require you to be a bug. Honestly though, I think it should be done like Ven in Castle of Dreams. You appear the same size as all the bugs in this world. Very simple. The area would be nothing but Ant Island (around, outside and inside), that really still leaves a lot of area to explore. When first appearing in the world, you would be in the large open area and immediately get attacked by the bird. After a short boss fight, you narrowly escape and discover Flik freaking out as he's just discovered his warriors are circus bugs. You offer to help, and from here, the story basically unfolds like the film with of course Hopper as the final boss.

Monsters, Inc. (Monsters, Inc. OR Monstropolis): The area here could completely take place inside the factory (with cutscenes showing elsewhere). You show up at the same time as Boo. The story unfolds much like the film with Mike and Sully now having to deal with both the child and you and trying to figure out how to get you back to your world. This world could have a cool costume change with your character trying to look like a monster like Boo does. A boss fight with Randal while you go through doors and see different areas would be great, along with a final fight with Waternoose.

Finding Nemo (Big Blue OR Deep Sea, Deep Ocean lol): I'm including all Pixar films in this list; however, if any didn't appear, this would be one of them. It's a fantastic film, but it would be really tricky to put into the game. Here, a fish form would be unavoidable. You enter the world basically right after Marlin and Dory have met up and are on their search and follow the movie's story from there (but only their perspective, Nemo doesn't enter until you and Dory find him at the pipe area). This world does provide a lot of potentially fun areas such as the sunken sub with the sharks, the dark ocean depths, the jellyfish death trap, the EAC, etc... The hardest thing would just be adapting a fish form. Imagine combining the mechanics of merman and lion cub Sora..

The Incredibles (Nomanisan Island): Hellz yes. Costume change isn't necessary but idc, I want a supersuit ha! Most of the story would take place on the island. You show up and are attacked by Omnidroid, defeat it, but are then incapacitated by Syndrome and wake up detained with Mr. Incredible...OR...your story could follow Elastigirl as she goes to save her husband...OR...you could follow the kids as they try to escape the guards. Any of these scenarios would work with all of them meeting up and fighting Syndrome (since there really is no fight with him in the movie). Eventually you go to the city where you all fight the Omnidroid.

Cars (Radiator Springs OR Carsland, which is the name of the upcoming Cars area at DCA): This could work as a very interesting mini-game world. Obviously, it would a racing world that would have episodes like Atlantica in KH2 where you can go back and do more (if you want). This wouldn't necessarily follow the movie story, more likely be set after with races in areas from both films like Radiator Springs (dirt track, through town and country side), Piston Cup, Japan Rainbow track, Italy track, etc.. If done right, it could be cool I think.

Ratatouille (La Ratatouille, which is the restaurant opened by the main characters at the end of the film): Another minigame world. Your entire area is the restaurant run by Remy & Linguini. And like the Cars world would let you experience another type of game (racing), this world would be similar to something like Cooking Mama. Not your thing? That's why they're optional. But I think both of these would be very cool minigame worlds.

WALL*E (Axiom...Deeper Space?): I imagine this taking place almost completely on the space ship. Again basically following the story of the film, with a final fight against Auto. They could do a lot more with this than what was done in the film. You are essentially fighting the whole space ship. Then you land back on the deserted Earth for the film's epilogue. This would be a small area like the clock tower in Neverland (or the city in The Incredibles world or potentially the Himalayas in the Monsters, Inc. world).

Up ("Hidden Paradise"?): Just show that opening to the movie and let us cry for a little while...
But seriously, I feel like this world needs the least explanation. Visually exciting and lots of action and potential enemies.

Brave ("Mystic Highlands"?): So far, looks good and is very different from all of these other films that mostly have a futuristic or urban feel.

So yeah that took a while but those are just some thoughts on Pixar worlds for a KH game. I also think it would be interesting to showcase some Pixar shorts in some way, perhaps as the way to travel between worlds in a cool minigame form. Idk..
As far as the game itself, storywise I think it would be cool to see this set somewhere around/after/before-ish Birth by Sleep with the main character being King Mickey. The adventure could be HIS mark of mastery and we could see how he changes from being more reckless and inexperienced to the Yoda of KH.
But that is just one idea.
Sooo...yeah.

Anyway, so far it seems like they're pretty set on using just movies for the time being, so it would surprise me quite a bit if they incorporated this in there. Although apparently Bruce Boxleitner said a while ago that the next Tron movie would be out sometime next year, so KH3 anyone...?

I only played the 360 version....was there differences in the stories? I know they do that sometimes, it's the only reason why I own The Force Unleashed for PSP and 360. If the stories are different for Evolution....then I gots to get me the PSP version (But first a new PSP)....

Haha, I don't want the show. I just want to see Beck and Mara in some form, but like I said it's considered not canon so yeah. xD Who needs canon, though. If we were following canon, there wouldn't be Mickey Mouse in three different times xD
