KHI makes a KH game! Discussion #2: Characters and Character Design

And back to business. I was watching a walkthrough of BBS, where someone commented on Hades manipulating a Final Fantasy character in every game. I couldn't help but want that to happen in this too, but Hades is getting a little old and predictable. Plus, I'd like a Hercules level that doesn't involve a colosseum. So instead, I propose....this.

I mean how can you watch this and not imagine him just manipulating the hell out of a character ignorant to his abilities?

@Madman- I had actually considered that before I started. I think it was ambitious to just assume he's wilder than an avarage KH Character. I figured I'd have a better bet just drawing the character before taking creative liberties with the design. Ah well, let's give it a whirl...and Dr. Faciliar, eh? You do an exemplary service to the foundation of animation with that suggestion...And your Disney/FF foresight is stunning! To layout that plausible scenario to the situations our heroes may face. And with visual aid, no less! Sure fire win with this one...That, is a good idea.

Since QM put Cecil in Facilier's chair I tried to give him a KH redesign:

And thanx :), I haven't really had n e sort of classes either and pretty much self taught as well so I have much to work on x(

But n e ways, as of now, I'm not sure what's going on with the Linnea design but I think I'm just gunna keep posting annoying designs until someone tells me to stop :)
So I think I read that quiteMAD liked the idea of the original concept of linnae, so I tried to stay as close to that as I could in this pic without making it look exactly the same.. (again with the phone pics)

so yeah just gunna keep drawing stuff at this point I guess haha

^ Personally, I liked the Pixie Cut better. Oddly enough, this one reminds me of my grandma when she was younger XD

Also, I have a question. Would you all be opposed to another Little Mermaid world? I DEFINITELY do not mean in Atlantica, but as a human, on land, when Ariel gets married. I think it would be kinda fun. Here is what I picture-running around doing various tasks/ fighting enemies, then, as you are at the beach, you hear a familiar sound. You look down to see Ariel's music box float up and stick in the sand at your feet while still playing its creepy music(note that it is oddly quite aside from the music box) . Suddenly, a tentacle grabs you. Ursula bursts from the water with the trident and rambles for a little bit, then the fight ensues.

I don't know why, but I have this pictured very clearly in my mind, and it is awesome. Whether she is giant or not, idk. My reasons for this- 1-Ursula was a pretty cool boss, and rather hard for me the first time playing KH1. 2-We don't have any other disney villains that are women do we? 3. I think progression of Ariel's story would be cool, and a wedding would be...cheerful. Plus, I think pretty much everone disliked that level, especially after KH2. So why not revamp it and make it an enjoyable level?

Wasn't there something like this,in kh2 was it? Hm I like the idea of the above water little mermaid world and such but isn't this after the events of kh2 (like the story is 100 or years later right?I think?) But idk its up to ophan I guess [story maker]

This is SICK, it reminds me of a feudal samarai, as far as the helmet goes. I think its an amazing armor design for the dark master! And the cape would add more to it too, lovin itt :) can't wait to see thee face

No, I was under the impression that this was in an entirely different universe (unless someone decided to change it, so idk).

Well, I can see where Madman is coming from. I do kinda miss the wild nature of him in your adaption.

Also be sure to keep the wristband and the colors. Keep in mind that I made him as a really f*cked up character since there's another, evil heart messing with his mind. The wristband and the colors should be kept too since I it was meant to remind him of his past, when he had green/blue eyes -> when he wasn't possessed.

I know this little story won't make it to the game though but I drew him keeping those things in mind so they are part of his design too. Maybe this can help you creating the perfect design for him n.n.

^No keep that story. We need small tidbits of the Dark Master's pupils pasts, that way we can get a little more interested in them.



Top is Dark Master, for now i wanna call him Orpheus until you guys can come up with a better name

Bottom is young Lucius as teachers of past students. Title of picture is "Brothers, lol"

Also there are two more large versions of the Sacrifice
posted before, i already had Warrior and Juggernaut, the other two are Wraith which is more feminine, with 4 wings. The two above large and the two below small, and she/it can warp underground and turn invisible etc. etc.

The next one is assassin, which is patient and quick, and you have to time it's attacks. It's more slender and looks a little ninja like. Something like Nero from Dirge of Cerberus.

All four are meant to be sent to each characters home town. Warrior to Ciel's homeland. Juggernaut to Raines. Wraith to Linnaes, and Assassin to Brand.
It happens at the climax of the story where once they confront these creatures they learn they can't attack them so easily until the finally learn to develop the armors from the metal shard pieces Lucius gave them when they first met him at Legacy City.

It would be nice if ppl could make smaller Sacrifice (light enemies) that relate to the four larger ones. One person did a picture that looked like a large body which would fit under the category of Juggernaut. Just a little sense of what's happening with this, lol.

For optional bosses, if you defeat the Dark Master/Orpheus you can go back to each characters homeworld for one last showdown with these creatures where if you revisit the temples that lie in their homeworlds, a portal will appear and the Sacrifice will return, but the ball of light is now purple and their armor is dark. It's basically an Inverted version of Lucius's creatures where instead of it being Lucius's creations, they are Orpheus's
