Just because I'm a curious individual. This isn't exactly related to Kingdom Hearts but I put it here since the audience I'm targeting with this question is located here.

Now, most of you I'm assuming, play and at least moderately enjoy the Kingdom Hearts games. However, does your love for those particular games extend out to say, Final Fantasy? Other Square-Enix games? JRPG's? Games in general? Or is Kingdom Hearts your only exposure to the vidya?

Do you play other games besides KH? Which ones? Would you consider yourself a "casual" or "hardcore" gamer?

I am a very open gamer. I play RPG's, JRPG'S, shooters, platformers, adventure, and others.
My favorite game ever is a tie between Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia, two JRPGS.
I like the Halo series, Metroid, Mario, Fire Emblem, Final fantasy, Mario, the Legend of Zelda, Street Fighter, Arkham Asylum, Pokemon, and others

I'm more of a casual gamer, but KH did spark some interest in other games besides the ones I had when I was 10 or so. I played (more like tried to :B) some of the past Final Fantasy games, like Crisis Core, X, X-2, and XII. I've also played Tales of games, Legend of Zelda games (mostly Windwaker), and of course the World Ends With You.

I do play other games besides these and KH, but if I play them, I play them more for story, if there is one. Bonus points if they're action oriented.

I'm not much of a gamer at all kingdom hearts has been one of the few games I can get into and play the only other ones are ff10 and 7 witch i had no intrest in playing till kingdom hearts when my brother told me there the best 2 final fantasy

I play a lot of video games besides KH, but not really any other SE games. The series I like best are Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, and Mario. I'm kinda a Nintendo guy.

I'll play pretty much any genre except FPS (if you think Metroid Prime is an FPS, we need to have a talk). It's not that I dislike FPS's, I'm just terrible at them, especially dual-analog shooters.

I'm a casual gamer but I used to hardcore when PS2 was in it's prime. Now I don't have none of the 3 top consoles (I had the Wii but it doesn't work and there's no good games). Either way, after I play game for a while I simply get bored out of it (example Dissidia). I have been playing RPGs more lately and I find them enjoyable but I find it that I need to a guide for these games even though I can beat by myself. BBS was really the second game on my PSP that I beat the whole game, first being CCFF7. But I am dying for a PS3 because everything is so boring right now. But the only real game that I find interting and always get hype for, is the KH series and LoZ series (more KH).

I've never really been drawn into FF that much. Not saying that I don't like it, just that it's never really appealed a whole, whole lot to me, which is strange, considering my favorite game series (I guess you can call it a series), Golden Sun, is similar to FF in basic structure. I do own one FF game, FF3, which I play from time to time.
The only other SE game I currently own apart from KH is TWEWY, which I find to be a very enjoyable game, with a great plot and fun combat system.

Outside of SE, I'm normally attracted to more Nintendo games, like Mario, LoZ, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, etc. My interest normally isn't limited to one genre of gaming, but normally stuff that piques my interest or that I can, normally, count on being good. As for what type of gamer I am, hmm... Not entirely sure. I guess I would fall somewhere between the two, to be honest.

Still out of all of them KH has always been the best and it's like part of my life.

I used to be a casual gamer when I was like 3-7 playing Sega Genesis every now and then. When i was like 8 my uncle gave me his SNES with Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy II and I was in love. My love for gaming increased until about 15 I was super overweight, depressed, and had no friends. So I fixed all that and start playing games again until I was about 16 and I was fit, had friends, etc.

But now I'm a casual gamer. I like KH but I still have a love for FF. Other than those games I like the Resident Evil series, Metal Gear series, Gears of War, God of War and thats about it.

I guess I'm a casual gamer. I would be a hardcore gamer, but I'm limited to the number of video games I can get. When I do play another game, it's usually one that can lure me with great music, cool pre-boss cutscenes, or preferably both. It doesn't matter to me what genre it is.

Kingdom hearts was my first console game. Before that I played super Mario bros2, Yoshies island and kerbie. Kh got me into final fantasy, and I discovered Assassins Creed on my own. I also play a few action and adventure RPG's here and there. I don't really like first person shooters.

I play many other games besides KH, like DMC, LBP, PoP, MGS, Infamous, Smash Bros , Golden Sun etc. I game a lot so I might qualify as hardcore..

I'm generally a casual gamer, Kingdom Hearts is just one of many games that I had gotten into.

However, KH brought me to these forums, which has led me to a lot of other games. So, I guess (indirectly) Kingdom Hearts has brought me more into gaming.

My first true exposure to Final Fantasy was buying FF10 when it first came out, since I figured, hey, there's 10 games, must be something redeeming. Afterward, I played through most of FF7 when I borrowed it from a friend, played through half of Dirge of Cerberus (still have it, not really interested in beating it), and I recently purchased Dissidia. While I occasionally find myself reading up on the plots of the other games, I am by no means much of a fan of the series, simply because I'm not crazy about turn based.

Not much of a conventional RPG player, really. There's the Pokemon series, I dabbled in Oblivion and Fallout 3, played through both KOTORs, and that's all I have in mind at the moment.

I'd say shooters are more of my forte, what makes me more of a "hardcore" gamer (the term itself is pretentious and I'm not crazy about using it), though I do like a good action/adventure game on occasion.

And as for other Square games, I played TWEWY and one Fullmetal Alchemist game for the PS2 which I cannot remember for the life of me.

Overall, I consider Kingdom Hearts to be an exception to my preferred video game genre.

I guess im a casual/moderate gamer. My first game system when i was four was an NES and then a super nintendo. I was the kid who preferred dreamcast until the ps2 took off. Now i own a 360 a wii a ps2 a psp a ds and pc games. I grew up on mario and fell in love with a kid with a giant set of house keys, a guy with a gunblade made me know what it was to be a fangirl, and i play the sims like a junky. SE games hold a special place in my heart, but I'll play anything as long as its fun (or just to see how crappy it is). But i dont go overboard with the gaming.
