What did you guys think was the worst KH

I loved the DS games but Coded in my opinion, was the worst game in the series. I was able to get past the whole "this is a stupid concept" thing because KH2 established computers play by Tron rules. However, the entire story could have been covered in a 3 min cut-scene and the game play was the same as BBS. I thought the growth system was alright, it’s nice to have that much control over character growth but it made me miss Days' panel grid system. I know there is a lot hate for Days but I LOVED THE PANEL SYSTEM. It made powering up your character into a puzzle.
I think I am one of the few people in the world it seems who thinks KH2 is one of the best games in the series. I started playing Kingdom Hearts when Chain of Memories first came out without having played any of the others and I loved it. Unfortunately, I never got a ps2 until 2007 so I was able to play KH1 and KH2 back to back with no expectations. I think my lack of (or even low) expectations helped me enjoy KH2 much more than the ones who had to wait 4 years for it.

I think coded/Re:coded were the worst for me. The story was pretty mediocre and it's just a forgettable game in general. The only thing I really liked about it was the matrix system -- I want to see that come back in a different game somehow, because I think it's a good idea that just happened to be used for a not-so-good game.

I don't dislike any of the games. If I were to have a least favorite, it would be Chain of Memories. I don't exactly love the gameplay that much.

Even though KH:ReCOM was tedious and boring after a while, at least I still got to play it and it had videos I wanted to see. I picked coded because I can't play it and it's supposedly important for the story. They need to stop the console hopping.

I liked Chain of Memories on the GBA, the only problem was it took forever to get out of some rooms. Like if you were missing certain card number for the door and the heartless refused to drop it, or a color card... that annoyed me, other than that, it was a fun GBA game.

I don't understand the hate for KH2 either... in fact, I don't understand the hate for any of the games. I love them all, obviously some have flaws but it's KH so even if it's bad, I will accept it lol.

CoM was voted the worst because everyone was bothered by the gameplay, with their platforming and cards and such.

People tend to pay attention more to that than the story when playing a video game.


But really, Days had the worst gameplay, or close. I spent the majority of my time arranging and rearranging those damn panels. -_-

Idk about you guys but KH2 was the first game that got me into gaming in general (forgive me for how illogical that sounds, I was 11 when I played it). So it's got a special spot in my heart.

"Roxas' time." Not a general time period. Without the possessive "Roxas," the meaning of that sentence changes entirely.

The word Day, is attached and the progress of the game is to show how the Organization came to be, as well as the daily life of the Organization XIII. They are always faced with the duty from a place, and then have to return. The game will focus around Roxas, who is a member of the Organization.

The title also has the word ‘Days’, but the game progresses by playing day by day, revealing the daily life of Organization XIII.
