Like Sign said. She is on hiatus. Even if they tried to "apologize" she wouldn't come back. They aren't going to apologize to her anyways. It was her father that convinced Utada to leave, so he would be the one they need to talk to. Also, she would only demand a higher compensation rate that probably doesn't match the work she is putting out.

And we can't keep reusing these songs. They do get tiring to hear and less relevant to the plot. We need something fresh. S&C worked for BBS because that was how they worked the opening out. It is easy enough to work your video to match a song's lyrics.

If SE and Disney have to hire a new artist, so be it. They have hundreds of people to call upon for songs. One singer who is on hiatus isn't worth their time.

But anyway Forze dell'Oscurita is an awesome song. Just now I'm listening to it for the third time; I can't help hitting the replay button.

And listening to the KH songs on piano is really making me want to learn how to play piano to play them.

Even though I love "Simple and Clean", It would be nice to finally get an actual NEW opening song....maybe the one that sang the "Tita Maximum" ending song.

I love Utada Hikaru and her music, but I`m in agreement that there needs to be new songs for the openings. I would say get Utada back, but under the circumstances it looks like it would definitely be better to get someone else to do songs for the openings.

How about Emi Evans? I recently heard of her through Gaming Union's "Gaming Music FM" podcast. She worked on music for NieR, where she created her own language to suit the emotions in the game. check out these songs from NieR.

I have been listening to all of her songs since NieR came out forever ago and not once did I even think of her being a candidate for KH. O_O Now SHE would be perfect. All of her songs are beautiful and expressive and even when you can't understand the words you know it is something touching and she can sing in all sorts of languages and make up her own...-dazed-

I'm pretty sure they'd just have her sing in Japanese and English though...but if she was asked to do the songs, I think they'd ask her to do voiced songs for the whole game, not like Utada just doing the opening/ending song.

Think of what her and Yoko Shimomura could do together. o_o

THIS. I love the song, especially the PLANITb remix, but there are only so many times it can be used before it gets old.
