Music in Kingdom Hearts

I am trying so hard not to listen to any DDD music. I have only heard the music in the Japanese trailers so far. I want to be able to play the game and be able to hear all the new music. It makes playing the game even more exciting.

Yeah I'm not listening either. I didn't know how spoiler-filled songs could be, I would never have known until people on the FFXIII-2 thread told me otherwise and made me think about the songs...

They are a bit spoilery if you know your KH music. You'd hear themes and be like OMG

is in the game. Although it could be deceiving too.

I did listen to the BBS OST before playing BBS, and it had a few spoilers if you recognized some things. Sometimes the song titles give things away too. I decided I would not do that with DDD for a more spoiler-free experience.

I'm not really a music person so I don't heavily listen to the KH music although I still have every song on my music device. So I probably wouldn't recognize any themes, but it's better to be safe than sorry so I'll wait.

Whoo! My KH3D OST finally arrived! 21 days after it shipped (which is 11 days after I ordered it), but it came nonetheless! I'm so happy right now! It's so beautiful T^T Music and the (one) art displayX] I love everything about it!

Listening to the KH 2 OST right now, damn, that nostalgia! Really makes me remember how much I like KH's music. Once DDD's out and I finished it, I'm gonna listen to that OST as well, kinda avoiding that since I listened to BBS's OST pre-release aaaaaand I got spoiled.

Really? They showed Vanitas' face? Lol. Yup, that's a huge spoiler. KH3D has no spoiler in the images, but I guess the music would be pretty spoilerish.

Yeah, pretty much. I was listening to the music, saw one of the thumbnails next to the video and there it was, Vanitas his face.

On that moment, I was not happy at all xD. Vanitas' face was pretty much the biggest mystery of the game for me so I was spoiled pretty bad :p

So for DDD I promised myself not to spoil a thing haha :D

Was finally able to listen to all the songs, all the way through, multiple times, thanks to now owning the album. This soundtrack sounds way more synthesized, cinematic, and.... evolved, if you will. I love the new tracks, but I found myself missing some of the old sound, if you know what I mean.

I prefer the orchestrated music better, this is still my favorite theme

I think some tracks might be better suited like from The Grid
