Mickey was using Gummi Ships at least a few months after BBS.

Yeah. Gummi Blocks were "discovered" when the door to the Heart of a World is opened up, as explained in the Ansem Reports. We can be positive they don't use Gummi travel in BBS, because we saw Ventus at Radiant Garden. Radiant Garden's walls don't fall until after Xehanort arrives, which happens after the events of BBS.

I'm really hoping they make some sort of excuse for that ship other than the fact he's riding his Keyblade... That alone would make me rage about this game to no end. x__x

But it was a stream of Keyblades flowing together, not a single Keyblade changing shape. :\

Bleh, all the questions of this thread have been pretty much answered. @w@;;

But, if you don't mind me putting in my twopence, I've come to accept the idea of the "transforming Keyblade."

I mean, the very first time I'd heard of it, I laughed. Hard. And then later, when I realized they were actually incorporating it into KH2:FM, I got a little sick to my stomach, but calmed down after hearing it was non-canon.

After that, when I heard/saw Ven using that vehicle that looks A HECK OF A LOT LIKE HIS KEYBLADE in the trailer, I started getting sick again! xD I thought, "Maybe it's just a game play element that has nothing to do with the storyline and therefore doesn't HAVE to make sense," until I noticed he was riding it during a cut scene ~*they don't use things that are purely game play elements in cut scenes*~...

But nowadays, I see I won't be upset about it as long as it's properly explained HOW they're able to transform (IF they are, in fact, able; even though all signs point to yes, there's always a glimmer of hope). If they just up and turn into magical world-traversing vehicles, I'm going to cry or something, because that sounds like it's straight out of a bad fan fiction.

Thing is, one one Door is opened, it doesn't break down the barrier for ALL worlds, just that single world.

Whatever world Mickey made his Gummi Ship on's barrier broke down before Radiant Garden's.
So, technically speaking, there is no reason why Gummi Ships couldn't have been in BBS.

There was also no reason they couldn't have been alot of stuff in 358/2 days that would have made it better.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of interworld travel in BBS, hence: "completely irrelevant"

Yeah, okay, whatever Audo, you're right and i'm wrong. Happy now, just let it go.

And just so this post isn't considered spam.

I don't think it really matters if we use gummi ships or not in BBS, I have no problem with Key-mobiles. It's fine with me.

OH SO HAPPY.

The idea of the Keyblade being able to morph like that was idiotic to me back in 2007 and it's just as idiotic now.

If they have the "Key-mobiles" that would cause more plot holes then it would solve.
Like:

1-Why cant anyone else use them?
and
2-What the fuck?
