Default my thoughts on what crossroads may be

we know that whoever has a keyblade he can call it every time he wants to.we dont exactly know where the keyblade goes each time the wielder doesnt use it.
my thought is that the crossroads are where keyblades go and ""rest"" until their respective master calls it.
Thats why this place is full of keyblades.also this place may be where the keyblade of the dead and not anymore keyblade wielders ""rest"".
so that means this place is used as some kind of storage for the keyblades of future, not anymore, yet to come or dead wielders.also for the wielders that doesnt use them and ocassionally call the keyblade back when they need to fight.

I don't really agree with this. It fits using KH-based physics, yes, but, in the recent TGS09 trailer, MX introduces the Crossroad of Keyblades as "the remnants of the Keyblade War," so I think it's just that. I think that either that is where the actual war took place, or that someone(s) put the Keyblades there as a headstone-like representation of that user.

No, I personally think that, since Keyblades have so much to do with the heart, that they basically just remain with the Keyblader "inside" their heart until they need to call it.

Master Xehanort says the Kayblades that are there is the reminds of the Keyblade War. Not a place where the Keyblade goes when their wielder's aint wielding them.
The Keyblades that are there seems more to be the gravestone's to their wielder's

I agree with you on this. But how did you interpret the remnants of the Keyblade war as a storage place for Keyblades? I mean, MX did very clearly say "remnants", and it's disrespectful for someone to just nab anything belonging to another person, so I doubt future Keyblade wielders can just go and pick one to call their own.

MX says, "The Keyblade's power is governed by it's previous master until the end...These are the remnants of the Keyblade War."

Nevertheless, it's an interesting theory.
