I don't even see how she's able to wear her outfit in the first picture. In the second it actually looks like a corset, but in the first? What's her front armor/corset thing even attached to? Super glue? I prefer a costume that makes sense. I hope the final version is closer to the second picture.

I guess this is what nomu meant but redoing some designs.

nomu hasnt come out to say it's true yet, so it's still a rumor- but the pics above look like it's from scans
so it looks plusible....

ugh, i really wish Nomura wouldn't change it. it sounds perverted but i do like the first one. and that thing about Ariel too is annoying. Aqua and Ariel are Disney characters right? if so, then why would they cover her skin while keeping Ariel's back like a hundred percent bare?! o_O

Oh well, I still like Aqua's design. Can't blame her for wanting a bit of a breeze, though.

I like how everyone is so quick to blame Disney for "ZOMG CENSORSHIPS!?!@" when Nomura himself said he thought the design was too sexy and that's why he was working a newer outfit.

It has nothing to do with Disney censoring the game.

And plus, the first one doesn't even look like a feasible piece of clothing...

For the obvious reason that it has nothing to do with Disney, but more so what Nomura wants the outfit to be like. This isn't an issue with censorship at all.

@ LoreiX: because Ariel is a mermaid and that's what her original design in the Disney movie was like and Nomura wanted to keep it that way? I always thought Ariel was famous for her red hair, green tail and seashall bra (the bra thing applies to all the mermaids too I think) if it comes to her appearance :/ I think the young Ariel also even wore seashell bra but I don't remember.

Well anyway I think Aqua looks great in both, don't really care which one she will wear in the game but I do think the 2nd piece makes more sense but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

That wasn't a bra strap. It was a shred of fabric to try and sell the idea that she could actually wear the first design.
