Default Playable Armor in BBS?

Who thinks that you will get to play in TAV's armored forms during BBS(not counting multiplayer)? Based on a clip from the TGS 09 trailer that shows Ven fighting a giant monster on what looks like a hoverboard, I think it might be possible. And there are also some clips from the board game portion where they are in their armor also, and that is a part of story mode right?

it is looking like the board game's "Enhancements" upgrade your armor/keyblade, which explains why both Terra's and Aqua's Keyblades are in different forms in several of the screenshots. I think in the new level with Stich, he has to wear his armor (since it is space, after all) for obvious reasons.

I have a theory that TAV use their armor and transformed Keyblades to travel in-between the worlds, bringing back a Gummi Ship-like system of gameplay...

It has been confirmed by Nomura and others that the armor has something to do with the storyline, and that was the reason they weren't able to release certain information. Now, whether that means the armor acts as like a Drive Form, to where we can transform into it whenever we want, is still a mystery.

Well it is used in multiplayer, travel, and some boss battles from what we have seen so far.

Now if I had to guess as to what Nomura means by it has something to do with the story line, I would say he means for example in Neverland, we use the armor and the keyblade surf board thing to fly from the main island to the Pirate ship to the skull island.

If Atlantica is in BBS (And let's hope it is) then the armor could work as a dive suit by using the armors magic.

In Deep Space we already see the armor acts like a space suit due to Ven wearing it in space.

So it seems very important in BBS.

Well, I thought it was all but confirmed to be a part of how they get from world to world.

With the Neverland one; Take out the ship and replace it with the Lost boy's Hide-out.

Deep Space; Why I think it's crucial to world to world transport in the first place.

Atlantica; . . . I don't see them walking around that place in dive-suits while still being able to fully explore the place... Can you imagine swimming like that? It'd just look wierd to me.

Neverland will most likely have Hook's Ship since it's been in Neverland in every game so far.

Deep Space, well what's your point, I agree it's how they transport. It was confirmed in Terra's demo at TGS09. Terra came out of a portal of bright light wearing his full body armor then it dissapeared. Confirming it to be used in transport.

Atlantica, well they would probably redesign this world to make it where you didn't have to swim, basicaly the areas would all be walkable. It wouldn't really look odd, I mean Sora could walk in Atlantica in RE:COM. Simply having TAV wear their armor underwater isn't that big of a deal.

Hmm, from the looks of it, Neverland's focusing on the Lost boy's and the Indian grounds. I don't think we'll see Hook's ship again, but that's just me.

Deep Space; my point really was that from what we've seen, the place just about confirms some of our suspicions on the armor.

Atlantica; :< B-but I liked to swim. And it makes you miss out on all the floaty fun. Bah, just me whining... I'd still rather have them as Mer-people if they go their though.

Cpt Hook is in BBS so why not have his ship, I mean you may be right and his ship wont be their but I don't really see why it wouldn't.

True on the deep space part.

Yeah but with the battle system it might be difficult to fight and swim so I can understand why they would use Armor in Atlantica.

Duh definitely. Who wants clunky armor when they have eye candy at hand? Anyway, yeah the developers should make it possible to be walked on if they can't make swimming work. It isn't too much of a stretch to believe that an underwater world can be walked on considering all those mountains and tunnels in Atlantica. Though this is wishful thinking on my part, maybe they can implement a little music minigame in the battle system to keep things fresh. They did it for Stitch's D-Link.

Just because we haven't seen it doesn't mean it won't appear. We've already seen the Mermaid Cove and some caves, it isn't entirely focused on the Indian grounds.

Neverland; I've never seen those mermaid coves. D: Darnit, I'm behind again.

Atlantica; I wasn't thinkin of eye-candy, I was thinkin of the old fun in KH1 where you had a large area with all kinds of things to interact with [blowing up urchins for shortcuts just... FUN]. If it's a walk-around world, I will be sad, but hopeful that they still make it interesting.

Very true on the Neverland part. Though I wouldn't want music involved in Atlantica in BBS. Speaking of D-Links though I wonder if they could use Sebastion for a D-Link cause I can't think of anyone else in Atlantica to be a D-Link. I would say Trinton but I would rather have him as a party member in Atlantica.

That can still happen even when you're walking. It's like exploring tunnels... only underwater. And those big open areas like valleys can be climbed on using spongy coral reefs and such. See? It's still interactive.

Party members can be D-Links. D-Links is basically borrowing power from a Disney character in another world.

Eh, i just liked the flying/swimming systems they had. Battling wasn't all too hard for me, in fact, it was alot easier for me there then anywhere else [I guess I'm just better at a free-moving environment battle then a flat-plane one]. And the exploration bit, having levels of ground and having to jump up them can be fun, but I won't really have the Atlantica feel anymore. >: Poor world's changed so much.

Or you can hit a hole thingy and water shoots up sending you to the top of the side of a valley.

Well I know Stitch is a D-Link but i'm not sure if he is a permanent party member in Deep Space. He probably escapes and he no longer becomes a party member but only a D-Link.

Prince Phillip seems like more of a party member that will be in Enchanted Dominion for the rest of the game, Triton would be this way too and I don't think I would like this type of party member be D-Links.

I can imagine Sebastion from Atlantica, The Dwarves from Drawf Woodlands and such.

You have to remember though that D-Links is you using a power that resembles a character. Triton is perfect because of his lightning based powers. Sebastian can work too, but it'll be too similar to Stitch's musical abilities. The Dwarves though I can't imagine.
