Well I didn't say Castle Oblivion messes with memory, I just said the place itself is known for messed up memories (which as you said is because of Namine).

Anyways, one of the BBS trailers shows Riku and Sora fighting on the beach. The instant the two of them fighting is first shown, Riku is in that same stance, and he even performs the same combo from that stance as he did in Sora's flashback from Re:CoM.

yeah this conversation has gotten a little boring since we all seem to agree there are few flaws, sorta takes the fun out of theories but it would be pretty tight if this is how it actually turns out and we will give credit to "Zion" from KHI for guessing it lol

Nomura has been able to misconstrue the minds of fans by believing the obvious, and then having characters make a total turn around of what we expected. Sure many ppl thought that Roxas was just some other keyblade wielder (mostly before his name was shown) and although some where successful in thinking it was another Sora, it was still a complete turn around of what most expected. The same thing happened with Xion, if anyone here played Days, that was a complete turn around of what anyone really expected, guaranteed few ppl successfully theorized close to it. All i'm doing is trying to find something out of the ordinary to explain who Xehanort is, without the most obvious explanations. In this case we have the most likely candidates being Master Xehanort, and Terra, but i'd also like to point some things out that may be necessary for concealing Vanitas. Hair! yes i'm saying hair, but it's not as if no one made this type of discussion before. First we have Terra's hair being more noticeable in comparison to Xehanorts, but the messy style that sports the head of Xemnas more closely resembles the style that Terra has seen in previous scans and trailer scenes.



Then we have a toss between Vanitas and MX, in which one is bald, and the other is concealed by his helmet. I'll start by pointing out that Ansem Seeker of Darkness does not support the hair that we've seen on Terra at all, and though minor similarities may be seen, i doubt we would see Terra with his hair being this slick.



Now i know hair isn't the best thing to go on, but again, could we honestly see Terra using that style of hair, even if we don't really know the attitude of his character. I'm more than willing to believe that this hairstyle was sported by one of the two remaining suspects. With this we can conclude that Xehanort may definitely be more than one person including the attitudes given between the heartless and nobody themselves. Vanitas on the other hand has his identity concealed maybe not because of his face but perhaps more so because of his hairstyle. It's not a sound theory i know, but it's getting hard to go on anything else, LOL.

HOW BOUT THIS! maybe Vanitas was sealed inside of RIKU and Ventus inside of SORA .. THUS master xehanort selaed himself inside of terra.... then 10 years later they will become free... why? Welp Xehanort awoke in xehanorts heartless and he awoke vanitas or Rikus desire for the dark power... then we see Riku acting the same way vanitas did with master xehanort... A servant.... Then we see ventus facing vanitas .... Just like sora and roxas allways do...... then Ventus became free when sora released both hearts. Kairis and his =o! (some crazy stuff I know but welp xD thats what i came come out with)

The problem is though, hairstyles aren't a definite and unchangeable feature.

Besides, Terra's hairstyle and Ansem SoD's hair style may look very different, but Xehanort's hairstyle resembles a little of both. In some way, Xehanort's hair style is the "missing link". The hairstyle could progressively change from Terra's to Xehanort's to Ansem SoD's without there being too great of differences between each change.

as i said, i didn't have much to go this, in fact it was more so a desperate attempt, but you made a good point. very well said. One other thing to take note of however, which corresponds to Xehanorts hair being the missing link, is the fact that Terra does not have the long hair that Xehanort has running down the back of his neck. Although similarities between his hairstyle and Terra exist, there is definitely a dramatic change to it. We already know MX is bald and have no idea on whether he had very sprite hair follicles running down his head in his youth, and we have no idea what Vanitas looks like without his helmet.

How do you think Riku got the suit......? I'm not so sure myself, but i do know that darkness is the connection here, and the fact that he had the suit before he was possessed. Also Riku never fully gave into the darkness, guaranteed his heart was tainted by Ansem SoD, I don't think the amount of darkness he tampered with was enough to illuminate his eyes. You know how when someone, or something is in darkness long enough the eyes over time (which could be years, but where talking KH here :/) will adjust to the darkness and illuminate themselves to see within it. Most likely that is the impression that is given when you see a character who's eyes are of the color Amber in KH. Master Ansem is one who had met this transition whereas his heart was weak through anger and hatred toward the betrayal of his apprentices. This happened so long ago, and one would wonder how long it has been since he was within that realm that would soon make him DiZ. Let's not forget Xehanort, and a few of the organization members, Saix having rage, and Xigbar having deep curiosity, all forms of great darkness.

Terra however is still without explanation seeing the KH2FM+ secret vid, but undoubtedly he got hand of some really really strong darkness.
