Some games nowadays have the terms of sale effectively being "you have a license to play this game, on this medium, but you dont actually own a copy of the game," because if the disc stops working, you dont have the right to a new copy, and all sorts of other issues.

Edit: Additionally, steam is a wonderful service, but they could tomorrow start charging a monthly fee to use their service, and if you don't pay it, you don't get to play any of the games you already purchased over that service.

That depends on the DRM they use. Most games have DRM substantial enough to stop the average person from copying the disc.

i would love for this to happen because my KH1 is Lost and my KH2 was scratched to death by the PS2 so i would want to go back and play those

What the hell does this have to do with a compilation disc?

That's right. Nothing.

Also, Steam lets you back-up your games to discs.

This is a good idea. Just to throw this in there, say you beat normal KH1 and 2 and you unlock the FM versions.

I hate the idea. Do we unlock the entire FM games, or just the additional features?

Because if it was the former it'd mean putting like five games on the same disc, when you could just use the three.

Whether Square would ever bother with it is one thing to consider, but as long as the ports are good I don't see why not (though either way I don't particularly care). Not that I have a PS3 but I'm sure PS3 owners who want to play the games again or those who haven't played them before would appreciate it.

The main thing I noticed is the characters don't looks so 2D. This for the KH games would be nice still.

I don't know they just seem flatter than the refined versions. I would have never thought it though if I hadn't seen the refined screens.

I'd love for them to just release every single game first, on whatever console they choose to, then in the future just put every single one of that into 1 game, instead of 1 disk with different games on it, so it's just 1 game with a giant story that ties each and everything together... So...sexy.
