I have no way to play KH1, KH2 and Re:CoM because my PS2 is broken and my PS3 is not backwards compatible, so yes, I'd like to see a compilation disk. KH Trophies, yeah!

It's popular but there are other games out there that do better.
So what's your point?
One thing doesn't subtract from another.
Grand Theft Auto IV selling a million copies in one day doesn't lower the chances of a Kingdom Hearts Compilation happening.

According to Wikipedia, God of War 1 and 2's combined sales didn't even meet half of the Kingdom Hearts series', yet a compilation was still justified.

Just saying there are other games I would rather see ported before KH.

Meh, Wiki. Anyway, the only reason the collection was decided upon was because people voted for it in the poll. Sony was looking for something to go along with and promote GoW III that is coming out soon and the consumer base picked a collection on Blueray.

Like I said, IF a KH III comes around and it's on PS3 then it may not be a bad idea. But for now. No.

Me too. That, however, doesn't detract from a Kingdom Hearts Compilation.
Getting a Ratchet and Clank compilation doesn't hurt my chances of a Kingdom Hearts one coming out, for example.

That was their initial reasoning, yes, and they wanted to see what consumers though.
Consumers showed a HIGH interest in re-releasing the PS2 games, so if consumers continue to show that interest, there's no reason why Sony wouldn't want to make the money. It's like putting PS1 games on PSN.

But for now. No.
Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn't have to come out on PS3 for people to be given the chance to enjoy the KH franchise in one compilation for PS3 owners that CAN'T play the games.

Oh hey look at that, this thread has a poll!

Though it didn't even take a poll for Fumito to realize his fans wanted his PS2 works on a collection as well.

Meh, Wiki.
I can get you real sales data, though it's not very recent.

Or do you want to stop being stubborn thinking that the KH series isn't "popular enough" to warrant an inexpensive rehash, when that happens to be Square-Enix's specialty? :P

I still question why Squeenix never gave us the Final Mixes. They KNOW we'd eat them right up. And they'd be rolling in cash! I don't know. It would be an all-too wise business decision.

that sounds like a good idea. My PS2 is so old and it's embarrassing to use.

I am actually quite fond of the idea, especially if by some mistake my PS3 (when I get it) turns out to be not backwards compatible.

Which reminds, on a off-topic question, how do you know before buying if the PS3 is backwards compatible or not?

But yeah, porting, enhancing the graphics, and adding in some more bonuses (or even FM's for the NA) would definitely be great.

Well, no PS3s on the market right now can play PS2 games at all. The last PS3s to have backwards compatibility were sold back in Summer 2008.

The only way to get a backwards compatible PS3 is to go on eBay or Craigslist or something and buy a used 60GB PS3, 20GB PS3 or 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3.

I honestly don't see a point of re-releasing all KH games on one disc, I mean unless your PS2 is broken and you just can't bear to spend $100 and already have a PS3 or your games are gone and you have a PS3 then wooo I guess but simply doing it just cause isn't enough for me. I don't like to buy games more than once, I'm looking at you GTA series!

I'd just rather have a new KH game than KH HD.
