i need help for one of the challenges. by the way im new here :).
so what is the best way to beat the boss from holloween town without getting damage i tried alot of things but im not sure which is the best. im lv. 86 btw
Boss? The big coffin thing? Take out the claws. There's like 5 of them. You'll paralyze the boss, enough for you to use a combo a couple of times and take off a huge amount of HP, especially if you're level 86.

no no i know i can take out the claws and just attack him, but is there a better strategy to defeating that coffin boss faster and not take damage?
also cant figure out the fastest way to take out the scorching sphere. i know i can freeze him but its not enough to do the mission fast enough. i keep getting 2 sigils
Uh, that strategy I told you is the best way. I did it without taking damage.

wut was your attack strength and gear you used?
uh.. I believe it was... either Champion Gear, or Omega Gear+. I had around 190-200 strength.

Gathering 30k points is ridiculously easy.

Anyone know how to fill the mission gauge completely in mission 46 (Day 152)?
I finally did Phil's stupid, "NECKS TIEM I WAN U 2 GEHT 200 POINS" challenge and it still didn't fill up.

Wait, so we just have to kill a certain amount of Heartless?
Well that just makes Phil's challenge pointless as diddly.
Just a heads up for anyone having trouble on the Dustflier (the "secret" boss at the end of the mission where you have to defeat at least 6 giant heartless in Twilight Town). Don't go for strength, go for Critical %.
I tried it once in story mode (ran into him by accident). Needless to say, I died pretty quickly and said, "Screw it."
And I beat him in four tries after giving it a shot in the Holo Missions.
I was trying to think of some strategies.
First I figured I could use the ring that has 100% fire resistance. My reasoning was that I wouldn't have to worry about the fireball breath attack it does, and could continue to combo the Dustflier.
Doesn't work. Let the fireballs hit me on purpose and... yeah.
Then I tried for brute strength with the Witch's whatever (forgetting the name). Still didn't work. Not a smart move.
But I had noticed that at random points in the battle, I took large chunks out of its health rather than the usual tiny dents. Thought about it and figured it was Critical %. So, I used the Critical Sun ring to boost my Critical % above 33%.
And sure enough about 1 in every three of my combo finishers (using the Zero gear), did noticeable damage. It made the battle go by much quicker.
Except I got greedy at some points, long story short, and diddlyed up.
This is not a hard battle. The attacks are not hard to avoid or predict. it's just that, when they do hit by some chance, it's pretty unforgiving. And considering how long it usually takes to kill the Dustflier, you're bound to mess up at some point (unless you can make it go by quicker, which is exactly what I was doing).
Next try, beat him in... I'd say under ten minutes.
