It seems to me people seem to taking Kingdom Hearts to a much deeper complex level. Honestly, insignificant details such as ears seem to bear no importance to me. Kingdom Hearts has an intriguing story and it can get a bit deep when talking about the formation of enemies and hearts, but I don't think Kingdom Hearts is as rich and copious in complexity as getting so narrow as to make ears important.

Too bad if we were to apply the same logic he just used to KH its self then the eye trait clothes trait and the stuff would not exist either.
Im sure he didnt mean main plot he makes making connections such as the logic displayed when talking about eyes or clothes of looking the same.

I actually never noticed the ears. I always wondered why Xehanort looked kind of elfish!

But seriously, ears=something to hear with. Thats all. The guy designing the ears probably had too much caffeine and jerked his hand, or something else insignificant like that.

Saix and Xaldin also have pointed ears. :v

And Apprentice Xehanort's ears don't really look that pointed to me. Imo, it looks like they are because of the hairstyle.

Gotta agree with you there. ^^ I am curious as to why their ears are pointed, but I doubt they bear significance to the plot.
