The Kingdom Hearts Timeline

Hey guys, I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of confusion between what happened after the events of BBS and before the events of Kingdom Hearts 1. So I’ve posted his Kingdom Hearts Timeline in hopes of laying all the confusion down to rest. Now there are some confusing things in here that I’ve marked with one or several stars “*”. If you see a star, refer to the bottom of the post. To best understand this timeline you I stress that you have a copy of both the KH1 Ansem Reports and the KH2 Secret Ansem Reports with you to read along with. I cannot stress this enough… a good understanding of these reports should clear up most questions….Also when I say “Xehanort” I mean AtW’s apprentice Xehanort. Not MX…because there is NO proof that MX is AtW’s Apprentice. Anyways without further ado here’s the:

Kingdom Hearts Timeline

-Events of BBS
-People with the “Blade of Keys” vanish*
-Xehanort found unconscious in Radiant Garden and taken in by AtW as his apprentice.
-AtW starts experimenting on Xehanort’s heart to “unlock the past within” (Even (Vexen’s somebody) also takes special interest in Xehanort’s memories).
-Ienzo (Zexion’s “somebody”) convinces AtW to construct laboratory in the basement of the castle
-Six apprentices begin their corrupt experiments on the darkness of the heart in lab. Xehanort begins writing forged reports after he steals AtW first report and adds it as his own. **
-AtW discovers his six apprentices gathering test subjects for their experiments into the darkness of the heart and orders them to cease and to destroy the results of their research.
-Xehanort creates the first pure blood Heartless found in Radiant Garden
-Xehanort finds the Keyhole to Radiant Garden and somehow opens it. Meteor shower occurs that night.
-Xehanort discovers Gummi Blocks
-Xehanort creates a machine that artificially creates Heartless and marks them with emblem.
-Mickey visits AtW at Radiant garden with Keyblade in hand. They talk about gummi blocks and the legend of the keyblade while Xehanort eavesdrops.
-Xehanort finishes his 8th (Ansem Report 9) forged report. Around that time, and upon Mickey’s request, AtW reviews the data from his basement lab and finds Xehanort’s forged reports along with detailed records of the experiments conducted. AtW also discovers that Xehanort had taken AtW’s first report and added it as his own.**
-Xehanort writes his 10th (Ansem Report 11) and last forged report as a complete human being.
-Xehanort sends Kairi “off to the ocean of other worlds” (Ansem Report 11 KH1)
-Xehanort and his five companions stare deep into the darkness and willingly give up their hearts to darkness and become Heartless and Nobodies. (The whereabouts of Xehanort’s companions’ Heartless are completely unknown.)
-Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, Zexion, Vexen, and Lexaus are born in the In-Between realm. (Possibly the World that Never Was)***
-Xehanort’s Heartless completes his 11th and 12th forged reports (Ansem Reports 12 and 13 KH1)
-Xehanort’s Heartless begins his quest for the seven princesses and the hearts of worlds and leaves Radiant Garden.
-The Nobodies of the Apprentices return to Radiant Garden shortly after via Corridor of Darkness and send AtW into “a hollow realm of nothingness”. (as seen in Secret Ansem Report 3)
-Xemnas builds the Room of Sleep in the depths of his laboratory in HB/RG.*
-Nobodies return to The World That Never Was and station that as their new HQ.
-Maleficent finds and takes over Radiant Garden with Heartless.
-Leon and Co. leave Radiant Garden and arrive at Traverse Town
-Someone (Xehanort’s Heartless or Young Riku…who knows????) opens the door to the heart of Destiny Islands resulting in a meteor shower. ****
-Kairi arrives at Destiny Islands during the night of a meteor shower.
-Young Sora and Riku venture out into the Secret Cave in search for a monster. Before leaving the cave, Riku sees the Keyhole to the heart of Destiny Islands.
-Nine years pass which lead to the events of KH1

**For those of you who don’t know or are a little confused, the first Ansem Report in KH1 was written by Ansem the Wise and NOT Xehanort. Xehanort steals and adds AtW’s first report as his own. Refer to Secret Ansem Report 2 by Atw:

That is when I discovered the “Ansem Reports”. Those they bore my name, the only one I had written was number 0. Apparently, he had gone on to pen numbers 1 through 8 himself.

Number 0 refers to KH1’s Ansem Report 1 (again..written by AtW) and numbers 1 through 8 (written by Xehanort) refer to KH1’s 2 through 9. Get it? When I say “forged” I mean the ones Xehanort actually wrote himself. Now I now someone’s gonna ask, “Well, what about 10-12?”…Relax. The timeline explains it.

***This HAS to happen. When one the a strong heart loses it to darkness, their body and soul get reborn into a Nobody “in an completely different realm” (Secret Ansem Report 6) The In-Between realm. Now…a Nobody can be born into one of four In-Between worlds. Refer back to Nomura’s Director’s Report:

II - Worlds appear in KH, could you please give an explanation of the means of coming and going between them?

Concerning the structure of worlds, first Sora and the Disney characters, and where ever we dwell, these so called normal worlds are attached to the Realm of Light. If all of these exist at the same level and you imagine them all sitting on top of a plane, there is also plane of existence on the other side where the Realm of Darkness exists.

At present, there are 4 worlds in-between these planes that have appeared. A) Castle Oblivion, B)Twilight Town, C) Yen Sid's Tower, and D) The World That Never Was. Constructed in this manner, Light < C < B > A > D > Darkness, you can imagine 2 planes with stairs ranging between the worlds.

These are the In-Between worlds. For example, Roxas was born in Twilight Town and Namine in Castle Oblivion (Nomura Director’s Report IV) I think that Xemnas and his 5 Nobuddies were born in TWTNW. They had to be born in one of those four worlds.

****Once again…this HAS to happen. When the door to the heart of a world opens, the invisible covering around it shatters. (According to KH1’s Ansem Report 11 and Nomura’s Directors Report) This happens when Xehanort opens the door to the Heart of Radiant Garden in KH1's Ansem Report 5. And according to this scene found in KH1 of Young Riku and Sora in the Secret Cave (YouTube - Kingdom Hearts: Never Land skip to 12:27), Kairi arrived during the night of a meteor shower. Someone had to have opened the door and shatter the invisible wall in order for Kairi to have arrived…hmm...

I...don't think so. The Ansem Reports 12-13(11-12 in KH:FM) from KH1 pointed to the Nobodies and basically described them before KHII was ever even announced. And because of the usefulness of previous Ansem Reports, it's very important to study them as they will almost definitely describe a huge part of the next game's plotline.

I...don't think so. The Ansem Reports 12-13(11-12 in KH:FM) from KH1 pointed to the Nobodies and basically described them before KHII was ever even announced. It revealed a huge part of the plot from KHII, right there in the Ansem Reports from the first game! And because of the usefulness of previous Ansem Reports, it's very important to study them as they will almost definitely describe a huge part of the next game's plotline.

That may be true.
But in any case any abnormalities he makes will not matter in the end due to his controll of the situation.
Sure there may be points that dont add up or things we havent seen but he will indeed cover it up.
About the kh plot if any thing if gives plot for CoM.

How so?

Ever read manga or watched anime.
And no they are not different so dont play the
"This is kh thats that"
line its simple logic.
In games there will be errors or facts that are stated

Xigbar states that once Ansem told them to stop everything Xehanort build the room of Sleep and that he (as Braig) overheard him talk to his buddy.

And that the new Headquarters are in Castle Oblivion looking for the room of awakening.

Nonononnono...he specifically says Xemnas. When DiZ is sent to the hollow realm of nothingness, he's sent there by Xemnas. Then Xemnas builds the room of sleep in the depths of the lab...not Xehanort. Xigbar, not Braig, overhears Xemnas talking to someone in the Room of Sleep.
