Ansem Reports Paradox

Well, this is certainly interesting. An excerpt taken from the Secret Ansem's Report #1:

"As noted in my earlier reports, I must solve the mystery of this "darkness of the heart." "

According to this, the number of reports written by Ansem the Wise is plural, meaning more than one.

According to the Secret Ansem's Report #2, Ansem only wrote one report before writing his Secret Ansem's Reports:

"Upon his advice, I decided to review the data obtained at my basement lab. That is when I discovered the "Ansem Reports." Though they bore my name, the only one I had written was number 0. Apparently he had gone on to pen numbers 1 through 8 himself."

He only wrote one according to #2, but according to #1, he wrote more than one. A very interesting discrepancy...

It's a simple mistake.



KH2 is filled with mistranslations and other errors.

• Roxas saying he instead of"It"
• Mistakes in organization members's names spelling
• Saying Bad instead of Bag.

He only wrote one of the reports in KH1.

This brings another question to mind: Who wrote #9-12? He doesn't state it was Xehanort who penned them.

Nonononono...That's all Xehanort wrote at the time AtW writes his report you see? Xehanort writes number 1-10 and his heartless takes over for 11 and 12.

Interesting, so if AtW was only aware of 1-8 at this time, then he would've had to write the first Secret Ansem Report before he is banished, meaning the Time Paradox would've had to have been a discrepancy and a mistake...

Otherwise, if he did write the Reports much later, why didn't he talk about 9-12? Also, it doesn't explicitly state anywhere that Xehanort's Heartless wrote 9-12. We only assume such because of the author of #12 talking about the transformation to a Heartless.
