im gonna stand by my theory that Sora's heart is inside Ven. It might even explain why the Keyblade chose him after Riku. What I wanna know is what Xemnas thought when he came to give Roxas his name. I mean he obviously remembered Aqua so I'd assume he remembered Ven.

Exactly, at this point it's 50/50 but no one can outright say that they're on in the same. Then again, it depends on how that said explanation is to be interpreted.

Well the only real problem with that is Terra chose Riku, not Sora, not Ven but only Riku. Besides the fact that the KK was only received because Riku was weak at the very moment, we can't really say that Ven did or didn't have an influence on said choice or the keyblade chose based on its own 'feelings' or both.

Also, how could Sora's heart merge with Ven? Sora was whole during the BBS storyline, and merging his heart would require his body and soul to be merged with Ven. Which would just complicate the story and wouldn't make a lick of sense. At the most, hearts can hide within a persons body (Kairi being an example), but for the rest of their contents it's not exactly known and I'm highly doubtful a fusion of that kind can take place; even KH has its limits.

Well in terms of it not making any sense, if I remember correctly KH2's revealing that all you did was fight Xehanort's Heartless at the end of KH1 kind of turned shit upside down. If my theory had any weight to it, I'm sure more evidence would be put in BBS. And what I was getting at was that I know Terra chose Riku, but because Riku turned evil, Ven's pick was chosen, and that might have been Sora. Idk. If you want a straight answer ask Nomura. Then again he probably wouldn't give you one either.
