Default The possible connection between Unversed, Heartless and Nobody
● - Unversed: The Unversed are "the opposite of human life." They are also known to "grow off of negative emotions."

● - Heartless: While most Heartless are in fact manifest hearts, they behave entirely devoid of emotion, and were thus named "Heartless".


Nobody: A Nobody is what is left behind by those whose hearts have been consumed by Heartless. They are made up of body and soul.

As said above, the Unversed feed of negative emotions. If someone has too much negative emotions, their heart will turn to the darkness. Because the Unversed are the opposite of human life - maybe having no heart/body/soul - they will try and take these by feasting on a persons negative emotion and turning them to the darkness. I believe that once a heart has turned fully negative, the Unversed will take the heart and evolve into Heartless. This cycle continues until all of the Unversed have turned into Heartless, thus making them extinct. The Heartless then feed on hearts and created the Nobodies.

I am not sure if this theory works out, or if anyone will agree with it, so feel free to shut down at any flaw you see in it. Thanks for reading!

It seems sort of like it could happen if there was a limited amount of Unversed.
I'm a little iffy about it though.

I agree with what you are saying, hence why I think people will not agree with it. It would depend on how fast people succumb to the negative emotion, I suppose.

Uh, what? Unbirth was never the official name, it was just a good guess based on knowledge of japanese phonetics. Recently an interview made it clear that the name is meant to be romanized as "Unverse".

Is it just me or are these Unversed theories and explanation with hearts reminds me of Demons and the Seven Sins? I think I found out where Nomura got his next jolt of inspiration.

unbirth is the one who is not born , maybe unbirth/unversed is terra , the human is ATW aprrentice Xehanort , heartless= xehanorts heartless and the nobody=Xemnas i think that's the truth about terra because we all know in the trailer when terra succumbs to darkness, i'm just saying it:D

I think it's a good theory, but I wonder how all of them could turn into heartless without any trace of Unverses at all in a 10 year span.
