Default I was wondering something..
Why was sora called a keyblade master when his skills with the keyblade wasn't on par with terra,aqua,and ven when they are only apprentice's?

we dont really know how he compares to other keyblade wielders except to riku, roxas, and mickey....

Or it could be cuz' at the time of the development of the first Kingdom Hearts, no one knew who those three were, because they were never thought up of yet.

Maybe because all the other keyblade wielders were gone and sora was only wielder other than riku and mickey.

Well, he sort of got the proper training with the Awakening in the beginning of KH1. We don't really know if Sora's a master, he could be niether a master or apprentice. He's the only one too, along with Riku and Mickey.

or probably its not that its master in skill but master in just obtaining it.

they call sora a few times "master of the keyblade" as if the keyblade chooses its master.

not that he was trained to weild it

Well Roxas got an awakening but that doesnt necessarily mean he recieved training to become a master or anything besides a wielder.

He hasn't been referred to a Keyblade "Master" since KH1.
And I'm pretty sure the only ones who actually called him that were people that could easily be seen as being misinformed.

Though, if keychain = master status, than it would make a lot of sense for people to assume him to be of that, even though he isnt.

What Audo said and I'd think because they wouldn't have any other wielder to be able to compare his abilities to. No one that Sora met knew Riku, other than Maleficent and her gang and even then, I'm not sure that they even knew Riku was the wielder besides Maleficent. And Mickey was behind the scenes the entire time, so it's not like anyone would know whether he was a wielder or not. The only wielder that anyone knew of atm was Sora and that's the only reason they'd call him a 'Master'.

I just thought they called him that because he just kind of controls the keyblade. Like, he's it's "master". Not that he mastered how to use it, but he just like, owns it. and that makes him the master of it. If that makes sense lol
