Xion Concern

This is a theory pretty much everyone has heard about and it makes a lot of sense, but proving that to you is not the point of this thread.

After giving the idea of Xion being Aqua a lot of thought, a concern surfaced...Now if this has been brought up before forgive me, but I don't recall it being talked about...My big concern here is what would Xion being Aqua at a base level do for BBS and the overall plot of Days? I would find it odd if Aqua, assuming from now on that she is Xion, became a Kairi in Days and is able to easily be replaced by another character. Hopefully this won't happen, but that would mean her condition would have some relevance with BBS in order to create a situation where Aqua is the only person capable of being Xion.

The point of this is that the big reveal in Days might not even make sense if Aqua is to be Xion, it would not only be backwards, but no one would get it and that doesn't set right with me. So I ask you all to show me that this would be acceptable or would not matter since BBS is coming out eventually and we would all understand then anyways.

More and more I don't think Aqua has anything to do with Xion.
And I don't think Xion is any real part of Kairi either.

You do bring up a good point with this, my mind is slow to follow though, but the ending paragrap/sentance I got. Why WOULD Aqua be Xion, and yeah it wouldnt make much snese, unless they explain it, which I dont think anyone could do IF Aqua = Xion. Days and BBS would have to be tied in soem qeird Quantum-Parallel paradox :s (headache)

I mean if they released BBS first then it might make sense, otherwise something amazing would have to be put for it to work. As of right now though what else could Xion even be, just a collection of memory in a tangible form? That doesn't make much sense either.

There's an awfully good chance that Xion's existence and story is very self-contained. In that, it won't truly be tied to BBS explicitly if at all.

That would be if she's not Aqua though because if she was then Aqua would be no different from KH1 Kairi in that KH1 Kairi could be replaced by another character and nothing would change for the story, and I doubt that that would happen to Aqua. If she isn't Aqua then it would make no real sense to have a Xion at all other than to keep things interesting. This can't just be a Days thing imo.

Unless of course Xion explains a rather important piece of the story as we know it.
Just because Xion may not be Aqua or related to Aqua doesn't mean Xion can't be an important and fundamental piece of the story.

I'm not yet convinced about the whole Aqua-Xion connection, but I am curious. She may be connected with BBS somehow, but there may be another reason for Nomura to have created her character, other than giving Roxas a reason to leave Org XIII. There may be there. Other than that, I think that Days may end up having more to do with the Ven-Roxas and possible Terra/MX-Xehanort connections. But who knows, there may be an Aqua-Xion connection as well.

See but it's the Days story if she's contained that way. Sure she could be an explanation to something in KH2, but what really needs an explanation at this point? It would have to be something so obvious no one can see it. So then why bother with this intricate of a plot as it just makes things more confusing.

If they wanted to make it more confusing they would make Xion related to Aqua >.>

Furthermore, the mysterious girl Xion who has not appeared in the series until now makes her debut. Just who the Organization XIII’s 14th member is in this game is the first key of the story. When the truth becomes clear, won’t those who played the previous games up until now be surprised?

That implies that her connection, role, importance, etc. has to do with the games that are already out.
AKA, she isn't related to Aqua.

Well, Nomura does like to surprise the fans. True enough though, it could be something so simple and obvious, but the fact is that we still lack the hardcore evidence. I'm not doubting the possibility, but I also can't be convinced until someone gives me a nice, solid explanation as to why Aqua and Xion are related.

Xion could go deeper than we possibly think, a tangible collection of memories that can be put into a form? Not really, but if we dig deeper into the story, then im sure we could find an answer. I'm thinking that she IS connected to somebody, but in a deeper way.

Yes I suppose it does, but then again there's no character with motive and purpose in becoming Xion that we know of, not even Aqua, nor is there a character in a situation that would permit their involvment with Xion as directly as being her, something when looking at it this was Aqua at least qualifies for with her armor being in the Room of Sleep. Anyways, in order for people who played previous games to be surprised, she'd have to be at base a character no one would expect being there in the first place which now is pretty much everyone.

It would be more confusing because it would leave this huge 10 year gap without an explanation in how Aqua got from Point A to Point B with becoming Xion in the process.

I think it is quite clear that Xion is not a normal Nobody. Her existence is odd, and there's evidence to say that her appearance is turning more and more into Sora. She doesnt have to be at base a character no one would expect to be surprised by her composition and what becomes of her and what it means in the series.

Well putting aside the fact that Xion was supposedly in a sleep for a while, a possible explanation as is her being one of the first experiments involving hearts, I would think Xion randomly popping into existance is just as bad as a ten year activity gap.

I think it is quite clear that Xion is not a normal Nobody.

First off Xion may not even be a nobody, but that has little to no backing at this point so I'll drop that there as she has been classified as a "special nobody" from early on in her reveal.

I am aware of her turning into Sora appearance wise, however that does not yet crush the Aqua theory.

She doesnt have to be at base a character no one would expect to be surprised by her composition and what becomes of her and what it means in the series.

She certainly would have to be for people who have played previous games to be surprised. Otherwise that comment from before would be irrelevant as a character changing appearances as severely as Xion would be surprising to anyone no matter their level of familiarity.
