Maleficent had the help of Pete, and she was facing an army of SHADOW Heartless. Surely a sorceress of her power can handle them. True, the numbers of the Heartless were massive, but she wouldn't be defeated to the point that she is severely weakened. Unless there were more powerful Heartless that were not shown in the cutscenes.

No, when she was resurrected in KH 2 she had to be weaken. She didnt even play a big role.

She was to weak to do anything real important. Maleficent just tried to take over Disney Castle because Pete accidentally found a door to Timeless River.

Ok no.

The third game is most likely going to involve a new side noone ever expected.

The unbirths are a likely choice, save for the fact that they were a "prototype" for the Heartless.

TWTNW was starting to fall apart at the end of KH2 if I'm not mistaken (that may have been TWTNW inside Kingdom Hearts I'm thinking of).

Organization XIII is most likely going to return in KH3 cuz of the whole Another Report interview.

I highley disagree with this. The Unbirths were (presumably) wiped out in BBS so them returning is unlikley.
