I think that Kairi should be left behind on the islands again and go after Sora in a raft. Hopefully a storm hits and she drowns! Jk XD

If we assume that she would handle the keyblade similar to aqua I would think so.

As said before, if Kairi were to be a party member, she'll have light-based powers, being a POH. The writers may be leading her down the path of being a Keyblade wielder, but that scene in KH2 is mostly to show Riku having the ability to dual wield, so it may not be possible. No amount of combat can actually save her character, though.

It can also show that Kairi has the ability to wield a keyblade.

Characters can change so we knows.
