If ever I will get something like this, permanent or not, I'd certainly aim for one of the cooler symbols in the series. The Heartless' emblem comes to mind, not the Heart :\

Same here - I'd love to get the Heartless emblem on my chest (because Ansem Seeker of Darkness is one of my favourite characters and because I'm crazy). :P

However, I doubt I will get it because my pain threshold is terrible.

Honestly, when I think tattoo I thik an extension or manifestation of who you are or your spirit in a picture on your skin. Honestly don't think even nomura's spirit says weapons of the heart created from the memories of a love-struck sweet heart and a lost emo friend. Pretty none-the less but that looks like something you'd get if you were fan enough to handle the trouble for the rest of your life... that or you've found your life-long marriage partner and they approve.

OP: I think your tattoo is pretty awesome and shows that the games are important to you. It's not my taste, personally, but it obviously means something to you and that's awesome.

I plan on two KH based tattoos. I'm a Roxas/Ventus cosplayer - I adore their characters. KH2 is one of the few video games that has ever held my attention for more than a few levels [and is one of the handful of games that I've ever actually finished]. 13 is my lucky number and has solidified my affection for/connection to Roxas. I will, at some point, be getting a Nobody symbol with the number XIII inside of it somewhere on my body. I have thought about this for several years now, it's not a decision I'm making lightly.

The second KH tattoo I'm planning to get is the symbol that adorns Aqua, Ven, and Terra's costumes - the 'Mark of Mastery' symbol. I'm not sure where I'm putting it, only that I do want to get it.

I will admit that I'm a bit obsessed, I'm not ashamed of it. I think that video games and tattooing are not mutually exclusive, and that so long as it's done well, no one should get told they're wrong for having it. I've been reading over this thread for at least an hour now and I'm more than a little annoyed at some people who have commented here about how they'd 'never get a KH tattoo' or how they're 'not allowed' to get a tattoo. But what if you were? *sigh* That's not what the OP was asking about. The OP was asking for an opinion on the tattoo they were showing. Not 'I wouldn't do it' and that's it. Posts like that show absolutely no thought and make me a annoyed on the OP's behalf.

I, on the other hand, would like to say to the OP that your tattoo is pretty cool and so long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.

TL;DR: cool tattoo! I like it and would love to get my own [of a different KH game symbol, but the point stands].

Haters are gonna hate dude. I'm getting a keyblade. Dunno where yet. Somewhere I can hide easily but show off when I want. If a tattoo means something to you, then who cares what other people think. If you do regret it you can have them removed or even covered. It's your body. I adore it. People have gotten worse tattoos before. At least it's not on your face :) it doesn't matter what other people say. No one should be judged because of a tattoo. Look up Rachel's Challenge. That's how people should live.
