And what the hell was that door's purpose again? Also, can someone tell me when the game(s) explained it's purpose?( if they did) This should be closed, if it's dumb,,,

Yes, it's the keyhole of Destiny Islands. In the game, it showed the keyhole in the door.

I needed to refresh my memory on this and I hadn't a clue where to ask about it. I can't re-buy the game, for the fact that I have to save money for future Squre-Enix titles. ...then there's the sucky economy
