I have both (the expensive originals) and I say that it depends on the type of games you prefer. When I buy/get a new game, I find myself sticking with the system for weeks and not touching the other (if the game is fun enough, that is). I'd just buy both because, as it has been said before, they're really not that expensive anymore and they're both worth their money (did I mention I bought the really expensive ones?)

Im going to get a psp. I have to share a ds with my sister so im probaly going to buy a ds too. I cant wait until 358/2 days comes out!:P

wow i was just thinking this today! the ds is cheaper but the psp is better. days and bbs are both real interesting..... i just plan on buying one myself and then hope to get the other on x mas

You also have to think about the style of the consoles. PSP will be more like a PS2 and PS3 in terms of graphics and gameplay. 358/2 Days is pretty unique, I'm sure, to the DS. It just depends on what kind of games you'd rather play. Personally, I think the PSP will get more use than a DS, although I don't think it matters getting the best version coming out soon. Doubtless it's not anything you really need, and it would cost a lot of money, being new and all.

I don't think Days''ll be that unique. Button placement is practically the same, the DS just doesn't have the analogue thingie. It was also confirmed that Days wasn't going to use the touch screen.

I didn't mean that Days will be unique to the series, but rather unique to the console.

As far as I can see, Days doesn't use the DS the way most games for the DS are played. That's what I meant.

I agree with iridium save up your money those games arnet going to be out fora while but if it was my money I would choose the psp it wojuld proubsbly have better graphics plus a wider set of controls

^Agreed, and that better graphics means a better game which is not true.

At the end of the day better graphics =\= gameplay/story

Well, I don't remember exactly how much a PSP is, but last time I checked, a DS isn't that much, so you can go with that first. Then, when you save up your money again, you can buy a PSP.

I have the Nintendo DS. It's a great console, with great games like The World Ends With You, Proffesor Layton and ofcourse the Ace Attorney series! I actually bought the DS because I knew 358/2 Days would be for the DS, but that was almost a year ago. I'm now saving up money for the PSP Lite because I want to play BBS. If I were you, I'd buy the DS first because 358/2 Days is coming out earlier than Birth By Sleep...you'll have more time to save up money for the PSP, and you'll be able to play a KH game in the meantime.

I don't know much pros or cons about the PSP, simply because I don't have one. But I do know the DS is great. Especially if you have an M3. It's a small DS card with 4gb on it...you can put 50+ DS games on the M3, and the M3 only costs 40 euro's (dunno what it is in Dollars). You can also put movies and music on the M3.
