They should have had a full farmful of Chocobos (FFVII reference) outside of RG so Sora could ride and participate in races and such

Well, I don't know if it's just me, but I shat my pants every time I saw Scar/Scar's Phantom.

But for Bahamut and Anima, they would animate them so they were less like their FF counterparts. For example, Anima would not have her Oblivion half, and Bahamut would probably look slightly less metallic.
