Probably already been suggested but what about a Sword in the Stone world, thats where Merlin came from after all

Haha I've said Sword in the Stone way too many times. Alongside Notre Dame I'd love to fend off Madame Mim and explore Camelot in Kingdom Hearts :D. The concept of Gilgamesh sounds intriguing, I guess you're running on the fact that he collects swords and he'd naturally be after Excalibur? :O

Yeah, they really don't do that much meshing besides in Olympus Coliseum. It's mostly just Disney here and FF here.

The Auron/Hades one was just plain awful compared to Cloud/Hades/Hercules.

Since Chernabog was from KH1 and Cecil would be perfect for BBS, I imagine Cecil goes to a mountain much like FFIV and tries to rid the darkness in him (while being accompanied by TAV) and they fight Chernabog in Bald Mountain.
