There is no need for him to be the John Smith.

The story would be different from the movie in that regard in that JS does not exist but Terra plays that role to the degree like Sora is Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh.

Once I think about it, Sora never did meet Christopher Robin. But John Smith is a pretty important character

At least instead of the English as the enemies of a Pocahonta world, perhaps some colonial-themed Unbirths and the Apprentice of MX to fight.

I wouldn't like that considering colonials are half the cast and John Smith was the male lead.

I doubt it's going anywhere (at least in KH3) because of The King of Thieves. Also, I feel that there's so much they can do to drastically alter it and make it much more enjoyable.. Think about.. the vanishing isle, the thieves' cave, the possibility that the palace might finally be a reachable place..

Didn't Jafar say the Sultan was disposed (in KH1)? I think he had him turned into a heartless or something, but maybe I need to play that world again.
