I think she'll have a passive impact.
Maybe certain events happened because she did something in the background. Or she indirectly influenced future things--for example, Roxas wanting to leave the Organization in the first place.

I don't know if anyone will understand if I bring up Tales of Fandom in regards to Tales of Symphonia. If anyone's seen it, they'll know what I mean without me having to explain it.

You've got the Xion part right.
There's nothing about her looking like Kairi.
And we can assume she has a counterpart heartless if she's a nobody.

If shes connected with Aqua, (severely doubt it, Aqua is for Riku) then shell be included some. Theyll at least make mention of her in KH3, especially if Roxas plays a big role in #3 (which he will most likely). And SorasApprentice, Is it true you beat Xemnas on proud at lvl. 43?

Nope. Her name is Xion. We have no idea what she looks like but it is said that she sounds similar to Kairi. She has dark blue hair like Aqua's. She wields the Keyblade. And if she is a Nobody, than she would have a heartless somewhere.

Terra is connected to Riku.
Ven is connected to Sora.
Aqua is connected to no one.

To add on with what R-K, Nomura said he added someone into the mix that had no real connection to KH which I believe is Aqua. I know the whole Kairi connection thing is still in the air but honestly Aqua feels out of place :\
