For those who didn't like KH2...

Since KH2 blew IYO...

Are you being a little more sceptical about the future games (Coded, Birth By Sleep, Days, eventually KH3)?

Yes. But not because KH2 blew. It didn't. People exaggerate so much on this forum when it comes to that. And in all honesty, if you were to say that KH2 blew, it would be hypocritical not to say that the other two games were at least somewhat bad.

I'm always skeptical. I was doubting whether they could pull off the Dark Knight after how great Batman Begins was. And that worked out fine.

No matter how a video game, or movie, or some form of media ends up, I'm just naturally skeptical of sequels just because they're that. Sequels.

People are like "Days will suck" and, on the opposite end "Days will be great, stop doubting it!"

And so on and so forth. The fact of the matter is that neither is truly justified, so go ahead and believe what you want. But I don't think you can say what can and can't happen with the new games.

I dont have any expectations to be honest, even if the new games arnt so good ill still play them.

Kingdom Hearts II wasn't necessarily bad, but there was no trace of Watanabe goodness within it, so I didn't really enjoy it as extensively as I probably should've.

Am I skeptical about BBS, Days, and Coded? Naturally, however, I'm fairly optimistic for these three titles at the same time, truth be told. =P

I say yes, but I'm not really skeptical about the games. I'm skeptical about remixed versions coming o the US. (If those games do get remixed.) Also, KH2 didn't blow, it just wasn't as hard as the original and had way too many plot holes.

well, I don't agree that KHII blew, it just didn't have a lot of challenges in it. I liked the game lol

am I skeptical about upcoming games? not really. I'm not too worried about it, to be honest.

I liked the perkier style of KH2 but thought it could have been longer. That being said, I don't have NEARLY as much hate for it as alot of people seem to do.

I'm looking forward to all 3 of the games. SHould be quite interesting. (That being said, I can only play Days)

I think that they learned from their mistakes and the new games will be a lot better than KH2. But I wont get my expatations up to much either.

Only reason we said KH2 sucked (well not the only reason) but one of the reasons we said KH2 sucked was because of the writing. But thankfully the person who wrote Chain of Memories (arguably the best of the series) is writing both BBS and Days. So Yeah I have kind of high hopes for BBS. Days I can see being a good game to play for a little bit, but I see BBS being the one I will be playing as mush as the first KH.

KHII wasn't that bad in my opinion.

As for expectations for the next games, I don't really have any...except for Days. I want a good storyline, plz.

It did not necessarily "blow" however it did fail to meet the expectations of a few individuals, myself included.

Somewhat. At the very least my expectations are far more morose.

But then again Days and BBS are being written by Watanabe, so I should be able to expect good things.

Nah I just buy them all anyway and if I like them, Ill play them again but if not, well I just wont play it. All you really can do is hope for the best and not the worst
