Nomura has pretty much said that Kairi's life before being sent to DI was unimportant. I doubt anything would be 'revealed'.

It became her fault the moment she offered Sora to leave Riku behind and take the raft without him.
It was her fault for not believing in Riku and thinking he lost his Heart, only to later on seem like she doesn't give a damn with saying he could take care of himself - when possessed by Ansem.

Her being a PoH, mostly. Also the first girl that he really talked to, probably.
Iono though, DI convinced me much more towards Sora/Selphie and Riku/Kairi than SoKai. Which meant that KH1 was all but SoKailess for me, seeing how DI is when SoKai is supposed to be based - afterwards Riku and Kairi go poof and Sora's supposed to act accurding to the relationships based in DI. But in DI they didn't make it believable Kairi was anything special to him :\

Aqua was in her late teens during BBS. Kairi was 4. I doubt Aqua gave birth to her when she was 13

Aqua was late teen in BBs. BBS was all of 10 years before KH1. That grandmother is not Aqua o.o;

They look alike a bit due to game graphics. Other than that no known connection.

I seriously doubt Aqua is Kairi's Grandmother. If you still think that, explain how and why Aqua would age so fast when BBS takes place only ten years before KH1.

Also, I seriously doubt she'd be pregnant during BBS.

And come on, Aqua giving b irth? Lets not forget how unimportant family is in KH.

Sounds very convincing, but probably will not happen. I just don't see the connection plus Sora's dad would be more important to put into the story. But Ansem is not Sora's dad. So back to Square 1.

i don't think they would be related since kairi's parents left her on that island.remember how on
kingdom hearts 2 when kairi was going to school. she wasn't living on the island at that time cus she only goes to the island when school finishes. who was kairi staying with when she wasn't on the island. i know it wasn't with Sophie. she must of been staying with a relative. I'm telling you her father isn't DIZ(ansem the wise).
