Why are people using this as an excuse for Mickey being mentally retarded?

Quote:
Mickey: You mentioned the Door to Darkness?
Goofy: Uh, yes, sir! Ya see, we're lookin' for the secret password.
Mickey: Password? Oh! I guess you mean like a code. Well, the Door to Darkness can only be opened by the seven princesses. There's Snow White, Jasmine, and Belle...
Leon: Of course...
Mickey: What're you tryin' to do?
Sora: With that password, we can get access to Ansem's research data.
How was he supposed to know they were talking about a computer? If I didn't know, someone asking for the "password" to the DtD would sound confusing. And if anything, potentially not knowing much about a computer doesn't make him stupid. If anything, I picture him as more "old fashion."

So, yeah, I wouldn't see memory loss being a product of his idiocy.

Joking, GA.

You should know by now, I'm rarely a serious person. <3 (I understand you're referring to people in general, but I thought I might as well point it out.)

Mickey is indeed smart. It was just a *facepalm* moment, is all.

I'm starting to doubt he forgot anything, either.

Why does Mickey have to lose his memory? Can't he just like be "ZOMG! Xehanort lost his memories... maybe he'll be a good boy now. I'll leave him alone at RG" Or some shit like that? I really doubt Mickey would forget Master Xehanort and DS.

That's actually what Riku-Keyblade and I are saying.

It's alarming how many times on this forum alone that people use that as an excuse for his stupidity and thus why he would "forget" about Xehanort.

I mean, if anything, Mickey's just technologically impaired. Nothing wrong with being misguided about computers.
