Rep Power: 2 ![]() | I've come accustomed to the load times and sectioned areas. In most games it's annoying, but that's not always thecase. But I understand that with the advancement of tech it only makes sense to use it. I am on the fence about it. |

| Keyblade Wielder | it would be great to have the worlds open, but do they have enough locations for each world? i mean maybe the original worlds will be big but some of the places could be really small so will i be right for them to mix locations from differnt worlds to make one open world. I dont mean just one open world but mutltiple open worlds that mix differnt location together. (do i make sense?) |

I admit, it made transitions a lot easier in the past titles, but something I didn't like about that was the fact that worlds often didn't feel like worlds. More like rooms with the occasional character thrown in. To truly explore my favourite Disney worlds in the style of KH would be a dream come true, especially with next-gen graphics. So many possibilities. It all depends on the world however. As I said, some areas could be too large [eg. a castle miles off in the distance]. Whilst that may be excellent in a Final Fantasy game, this is Kingdom Hearts, and there are many many worlds. You need to keep a balance! Clone, I do understand you. It might mean scrapping the Gummi Ship system, but I suppose you could have something like the Corridors of Darkness instead, moving you from one area to another. Perhaps there will be a Fantasia world that could utilise your idea =). -- Andy |

| Disney Soldier | That would be awesome, but in the same time it can be disaster...it depends how will they do it (of course if they do open world stuff)! |

I mean, in KH2, when it went to a black screen, sometimes going from one area to another were actually directly connected to each other (for instance, walking from one area of Twilight Town to another, there usually was no area between that we skipped over), but there were other areas that irked me because it skipped over land (in Mulan's world, we can see the trail to the city, but we never actually travel it. We just walk out of the camp site and magically are there.). So, yes, free roaming would be welcome for me. | |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Well, kh2's camera made everything seem much smaller, which was something I didn't like, though it was a nice improvement, when battles were concerned. The combat looks like kh2, but eh, you can't be sure till it's played... |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | i dont know anything about coding for PS3 games... but the KH2 style transition between "areas" allowed more codes to be used through "jokering them". So i would like the KH2 style as compared to the open world idea just for the hacking possibilities =P ...don't chew me out Last edited by xigabyte; 09/03/08 at 04:45 AM. |
